Carrier (Chimera) for Lvl4 Missions
Ok I'm a few days away from flying a Chimera Carrier. I don't do fleet actions or play the Alliance politics game, it bores the crap out of me waiting for hours for a possible battle only to have your opponents run away. So I mainly do lvl4 missions. I was wondering anyone out there using carriers for lvl4 missions? At face value it seems like they'd be ideal. The ability to tank for days, your drones can equally smoke Battleships and cruisers with ease. As long as I'm in .5 sec or higher it would seem like zero risk.
Anyone have any input on this? Suggestions?

Carriers cannot run Level 4 Missions. It was stopped a while back. Maybe level 5 or 6 - due out in Revalations 2. but low sec / 0.0 only.

Three problems:
- Carriers cannot enter level 4 deadspace acceleration gates, you are restricted to open-space beacon missions.
- You cannot create cyno fields in high-sec, so you cannot travel into high-sec systems with a carrier (so you are restricted to missions in the same system your carrier is in).
- You cannot build carriers in high-sec.
Essentially, carriers are low-sec / 0.0 ships that you cannot use for a majority of the missions.
