About 1 week ago I put up some implants for sale and most of them sold. However tonight I went to check orders/transactions and a few implants were missing. I have checked assets and flown to station where I put them up for sale but still cannot find them. I have checked corp deliveries aswell since I used corporation wallet but still cannot find the missing items.
Any ideas on where to look?

I had exactly the same problem a while back, and according to what I discovered after forum searching, expired items sometimes don't drop completely out of the market until after downtime. That said, it took me 3 days to get my missing items back. I even filed a petition, but my items reappeared before the petition was acted on. Now, I keep watch and cancel a sell order just before it's due to expire.

I have a feeling that this has happened. I searched the market and have seen 'expired' sell orders on several different implants in the station I was selling them from. I am pretty sure they are mine because the cost is a 'nice' number though I have no way of knowing for sure because I cant remember exactly which plugs I put up for sale.
Is it worth petitioning this stuff back or should I just wait until DT? If I was to petition which category would it come under?

If it's in the market, but listed as expired, you should get it back after downtime. When mine went missing, they were no longer listed in the market, but showed up in my hangar 3 days later. But I have had some of my stuff listed as expired (before I started my new policy of cancelling) and these usually did show up in my hangar after DT. At least, that's been my experience. As for petitioning, that would be under 'Reimbursement', and I hear these can take weeks to get resolved. So unless they go completely missing, I wouldn't bother.
On a side note, even though they're listed in the market as expired, they can still be bought by a player. But since they're no longer on your orders list in your wallet, you can't cancel them. So the only thing you can do is wait for DT (or buy them yourself, in which case you're only out the broker's fee).
