This is the Tranquality Server.
I am getting a rather strange error. 80% of the time, I get Server Status:Unknown the other 20% of the time I can log in.
I have done the following and I still can't solve it.
1) Reinstall the client 2) used a different computer 3) used a different Private IP address 4) used a different Public IP address 5) Used a Demilitarize zone to forward traffic 6) Port forward the Eve-ports 7) Turn of All Firewalls and ACLs 8) Verfied the routing protcool are actually forwarding the packets 9) Ensured that all TCP/UDP/ICMP packets are being transmitted correctly. 10) Check that no other system is using the same ports 11) Fragement the Frames and packets to reduce latency 12) Gave Eve-online a QOS priority of 1(highest possible) 13) Turn off QOS 14) Packet Sniffing reveals I am just not reciving the returning packets. 15) Manuelly limit the TCP window size to reduce latency. 16) Ran OSPF through a neighbours connection to see if eve would connect through his ADSL. 17) Windows Format (Windows XP Pro SP2) 18) All Anti-virus are off 19) Changed my Router to a Cisco 2620XM unit. 20) Used a Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 cable
I do not know why this problem cannot be replicated and thus I can't resolve it.
Anyone with an idea? -----------

Seems a lot of people get an error cause very often a router in london ****s up. You most likely did a tracert to see that right? (If you mentioned that in your listing above, dont mind me, I'm a noob).

Yes I did, however there are times, when I am logged on playing, and I can't log in with a 2nd client because of this error.
So I know I can get through, I assumed that this London router is merely configured to be denying my ICMP.
I do not have HPopenview, Specturm or other software to check up on it beyond the humble ping. -----------

Resolved, My TCP 3 way handshake was not getting through.... It appears the ISP firewall was on and did not like it.
