Personally I like how the different skins look under different lighting. I've got a maelstrom skin that looks extra sexy in amarr space (the proper place for any minmatar ship. since they should always be on the front lines)

What we see in Eve client was generated by spaceship systems to make capsuleers aware of surroundings. This means that standard physics laws do not apply. (Guns sound anyone?) So yeah, i see the point OP is trying to make. If we buy white skins in shop they should be white independent of some arbitrary things like color of nearby sun. But hey, it's CCP. I was fine with the change if there was a way to turn it off, or if it didnt apply to skins that were purchased with Aur or Isk. If red rata skin looks brown, or purity skin starts looking pinkish yellow... what is the point.

Edit: if you're so disappointed ask for your money back, and buy a skin you actually want. Bear in mind sun's will affect the color of whatever skin or ship you choose. A case for more AoE in EvE

Do you get upset that sometimes a red car can look brown, or a white car can look pink?
