If CCP wants to give me a fantastic birthday/bar mitzvah/Kwanza/Easter gift this year, they could create an application that would let me update skill training from the websight. I would fly to Iceland and give the whole dev team sloppy kisses if they came through on this. Possibly more if they bought me drinks first.

That would be nice but it would make it too easy for char/isk farmers

Do you believe that the Isk/char farmers dont already have macro's setup to do this?
All they really need is evemon installed and all their chars added to it, then wait for the 'youve completed XYZ" message to come up, and macro to the next one Id say.
Isk farmers who do it full time, IE as a regular job, it hurts the least, as they are already at the game.
I work though, so if a skill finishes when Im at work then I lose hours of training, yes I train longer timed skills instead but that often means I cant train the skills I want too.
In other words, it hurts legit players more then farmers.
Slow down the macroing by putting code entering hurdles, or a 'what is this picture' type challenge/response questions into it.
Yes they could macro to that screen, but FFS they can macro entire mining operations, macroing skill changes is 100x easier I would say.
