A little background:
They each control the side of the body that they're on. You tickle the right side the girl on the right laughs. They have two hearts, three lungs, two stomachs and 1 of everything south of the stomach.
If one girl drinks orange juice they both get the vitamin C.
When they were young one wanted to be an airline pilot and the other wanted to be a dentist.
Scientists have been dying to study them becuase you'll never find two more identical people. Genetically identical with exactly the same life experiences. Yet they have completely different personalities. Why is that?
Also, with one girl controling one side and the other controling the other side, how do they walk, dance or play basketball?

Well it looks like they don't walk like normal people - they learnt to walk together , not perfectly synchronized but rather a reaction to each other's moves. I suppose the same goes for driving.
What is confusing is how they type... did they decite what to type beforehand ? If so , how can they alternate keystrokes right at that speed ? While talking on the phone even

WOW, thats amazing. All of the impossibilities of having dual control over one body, and they pull it off. Complicated physical motions must have been learned in a completley different way for them than most anybody else on the planet. Even if you could seperate them, I wonder if their brains would be too used to working with half a body and predicting the other half to actually work alone?
Either way, thats just an incredible video. Really demonstrates the adaptability of the human mind.
Tho the questions it raises are numerous to say the least.
If your dating one girl, and somebody else the other, are they cheating on both of you?
They seem to be legally identified as two legal people, so could they marry two different men (or women, or both I suppose)?
I mean, geeze, thats just mind boggling. Great find \o/

I find in facinating that Brittany is better at math and more withdrawn, and Abigail is more garrolous and verbal. Math skills are more associated with the left hemisphere of the brain and verbal skills the right, which is how they are arranged. There must have been some sort of hormonal signalling early in their development that normally differentiates right brain from left brain that was ever so slightly segregated between the two. I'd love to have a look at a cat scan of their brains, especially when they are exposed to the same stimuli...

actually, since they share a nervous system and a circulatory system and damned near every other system really it forces me to ask: if on'es feeling down are both feeling down, again hormones dumped into a single circ system, and beyond that, is it POSSIBLE, that perhaps the trains of though from one might carry over to the other?
example: something ****ty happens at point A in time.
6 hours after point A, one of them starts thinking about it and gets a little down, releasing various hormones and whatnot, causing the other to either take note (i'm feeling a little worse now, i guess she must be thinking about somethng unhappy) or begin feeling different herself. i dunno, it just seems like uber empathy, they should totally play eve and run dual accounts, they'd be a solowtfpwnmobile(sorta)

how abotu drinking? it says since they have the single stomach that if 1 drinks orange juice the other gets the vit C, so if the girl with BF splits with him and deceides to get wasted, would the other "head" also get drunk (via the alchol enterign the others blood stream and it being circulated) or would she just wake up with half the hangover the next day? theres a lot to think about with them, they both seem to be able to type properly and they use both hands to write with, they obviously type really well as shown in the video.
