If I patch for the test server, will I still be able to play on the regular server?
How often is my character copied from Tranquility?
Can I create a character solely on Test?
If I create a character solely on Test will it be overwritten by the copy from Tranquility?
If I'm training a skill on Test, is my character still training on Tranquility?

If you wanna play on the test server you need to do a second install of Eve into another folder and patch that version as it is a few patches ahead of TQ. I think your character is copied every month or so. As for character questiosn, i'm unsure as i dont play on it :)

But in summary...
1. No, you need to copy your EVE installation to a new directory and patch/play that for Chaos.
2. Whenever the DEVS feel like... not often.
3. Yes, as long as you have an alt spot free.
4. I think so.
5. Yes.

6. no because the user limit on the test server is 100 users and i dont think its ever hit that high.
effectivly you'll be playing an MMORPG by yourself 90% of the time =P
play it however you like but chaos is constantly changing, full of bugs and generally lonely. its great for testing something or getting a sneak peak at a new and upcomming feature but not worth spending your time on (IMHO)
