Remember Yulai?!?
I remember when Yulai was the largest Trade Hub in all of eve, Jumpgates changed and this became troublesome.
Although now i think it is nessaccary to revamp this old system and bring it back into the picture.
TRADERS, ALTS, SELLERS, BUYERS, VENDORS, BUSINESS MEN, SCAMMERS, MISSION RUNNERS, EMPIRE DWELLERS!!!
Move your stuff to Yulai!!
I am not tryin to kill Jita, as that i think is impossible. I am tryin to take some stress off the system by ridding the market monopoly known as Caldari Assembly Plant Planet 4 Moon 4.
Do you agree???
Step up and be the first real inhabitants to repopulate Yuali!!
 VOTE YULAI!!

Why would people go to Yulai when jita is easier to travel to?

If you remember yulai then you'll remember why the trade hubs moved from there in the first place.
This thread looses. -

i used to have my base in Yulai and used to run the low sec up to Avada every day. nothing like running into 4million pirates every day. also used to do the complex 2 jumps from avada every day. They were the good old day dont trust badgers |

did Yulai stop being a trade hub because the dev's deleted several highway jumpgates that allowed people to get to it from anywhere in fewer jumps?
If so it aint gonna happen, Jita is Jita because its quick to get to because of the remaining long distance highway jumps. -

People stopped using yulai because CCP stuck a 0.4 sector to it in the way from the whole of the south (flattened map). Now jita *IS* easier or more to the point safer to get to, who in there right minds are going to take freighters/haulers or transport ships through the pirate infested vecamia.
If Vecamia was to become a 0.5 you would definitely see a shift back to Yulai from the south (flattened map).

If you think your idea is any help then you can count yourself to those 95%.

Edited by: Braaage on 13/05/2007 15:19:26 From where I am -
Jita 13 jumps all 0.5 and up Yulai 13 jumps through Vecamia (0.4) or 20 jumps 0.5 and up Ours - 12 jumps through Vecamia (0.4) or 17 jumps 0.5 and up Rens - 17 jumps through 4 x 0.4s or 26 jumps 0.5 and up Hek - 20 jumps through Vecamia (0.4) or 24 jumps 0.5 and up
I said it when CCP put in the changes to the map and altered all the highways that putting that 0.4 in there (Vecamia) would seriously re-shape the south (flattened map).
For practically all of the south (flattened map) Jita is the only safe seriously large market hub. Amarr doesn't do bad but it's not big enough.

Jita will ever change.
Everyone who plays eve knows that to get everything you need at low prices, you head to Jita. the only way to fix this is to delete jita there are oter hubs out there.
I say Vote to DELETE Jita!! doomsday it to hell!! Yes ... I am an alt...get over it! |

To be honest the Contracts system hasn't helped to relieve pressure off Jita - It's increased traffic there due to the fact that you can now only search one region at a time. This means that everyone just automatically goes to Jita to put their stuff on contract as the buyers only bother to search for items in The Forge. ------------ Combat miner |
