Fountain Goddess	Posted - 2004.01.05 17:48:00 - [1] Topis says it all. Since polaris was scouting there in a warzone for possible "event" we would like to know when it is and what it will be like. Not accusing of anything, just interested in events since there have been almost no events to this date. Since we have the Polaris event manager posting alot today perhaps we can have some info from him as well about this upcoming event in Curse. Alt of Omniwar

But I care not for that, all I want to know is that if and when that event will be so I can take part in it, I have been playing since start but never ever seen an event to this date. Alt of Omniwar

I think that events should be made public either before or right after and perhaps they are made public afterwards but I havent seen much about it lately so I am eager waiting for them. Actually, one of them once said he was investigating, but didn't anwer what he was investigating, which I was very curious to know since he was in MASS HQ, which was very restricted for MASS members only to use... Keep an eye out there. 3) Just because we scout an area, doesn't mean we'll have an event there. We have scouted out many areas in and out of Empire space, and in all of the claimed 0.0 areas. 4) Above and beyond all else, we wouldn't advertise in advance what an event 'would be like.' Unless, of course, you're saying that you couldn't figure out that i was pointing out how easy it would be to obscure and bury this whole episode by stating that some phantom event was to be planned but due to one random person in local spouting off there conveniently won't be, so no inappropriate action on the part of the teleporter could ever be suggested. But that's OK. It's far easier to shut off the brain and engage the mouth in some CA-bashing. Always a guaranteed crowd-pandering favorite! You are in a maze of twisty little asteroids, all alike.

But i think you got so caught up in your attempt to be sly about 'pointing out how easy it would be etc and so on', you completely missed the obvious i.e. the dichotomy of your presented stance. It might sound strange to you, but your local conflicts are just that, local. That line about shutting off the brain and engaging the mouth, you might say it again.

There is no point what so ever to be in that system after CCP hit it with the nerf sledgehammer, so there is no point in keeping it secure now. 3. At the time I was referring too, some months ago, it was damn secure. There were usually at least 10 MASS battleships in that systen 23/7, it's a dead end system, all our pilots had like 20-30 bookmarks there, and to get to the system you had to pass through systems in which you'd be spotted by our friends, so the answer is that I seriously doubt that there has ever been a more secure system.
