May 26th on my show ill be hosting a massive Scavenger hunt. Winner takes all and prize estimated value will be 500-750 million ISK. I will be broadcasting contestants progress as the great race goes on. Field marshalls will be posistioned at all checkpoints to ensure fair gameplay is secure. Please tune in and join the fun as listeners take a mad dash for the LEWTS.
Rules
Must be listening and presant in in-game channel or on IRC

In-Game Bob Radio
All participants must clear all checkpoints and have the flags to show it.
All participants understand this contest will require you to transverse several security sectors in EVE including 0.0
Killing of other Participants is perfectly legal and encouraged (Muhahaha)
Killing /Damaging/Engaging any course marker or field judge will constitute immideate disqualification

Im certainly no BoB supporter. In fact Im an alt of someone on the other side of the front. But at least think about this. It's already stated in the rules that you might get killed. So why in hell should anyone fake such a race? There's nothing to be gained here.

It will most definitely be a trap. Even if not by the organisers, I bet there will be some pirates tuning in to listen where they can catch a few targets and make a name for themselves at the same time.
But that's within the rules I guess. So maybe a trap but definetly still a legit race. I don't think anyone would field the necessary blob to stop a ceptor in a gate camp just to catch some low T2 loot. But who knows.

Big prize brings the lemmings... campers kill the lemmings. Convenient friend of lemming-gankage coordinator 'claims' said big prize which goes back into the BoB communal communist hangar.
They've been doing this for years.

Dude, neither BoB or Outbreak need to make up a 'trap' to gain extra targets, or need the small amout of isk 'ganking' some treasure hunters might bring. So why??
Enjoy it for what it is, use a t1 rifter, whatever, grow up please.

If you think its a scam or a trap dont participate. This is somthing I came up with that sounded like fun. I wanted their to be risk to reach the reward but setting up traps would be ***. I can tell ya I have a few friends that will be cloaked in the proximety of course markers to feed me play by play action so I can broadcast it on air.
I do expect some contestants to die at the hands of various hostiles while traveling the course but that just add to the fun. To win you have to understand the clues be faster than your opponents and be able to survive hazdorous areas of eve.
The contest is almost here.

What's the exact format? Something along the lines of audit log secure containers each full of bookmarks pointing to the next container?
Assuming that you are acting in good faith, I imagine that you're not going to tell any potential participant any information about the start location (except perhaps the region) until an hour or so before it kicks off. It'd be nice to know what time of day we should start listening!
If you're leaving the prize in space somewhere, I hope you have the means to make it inaccessable at very short notice in case someone cheats at the very last checkpoint.
//edit: According to the schedule, I'd need to get out of bed at 6am to take part - are those times in GMT+1 or are they EVE-time?
Also, the EVE-time indicator on that page is an hour fast due to daylight savings time...

I don't see how that helps you to win - if you drop a bubble, don't you then have to travel out of it yourself before you can warp? The most it would do is annoy the people behind you...

Drop bubble when you WTZ onto a gate.
Example:
You warp to 0 onto a gate - Drop bubble - jump through - warp to next gate.
Anyone behind you will get stuck at the radius of the bubble.
Oh and this works only in 0.0

Is there an entrance fee? - and I'm curious which 0.0 region will this be held in. Also if there are neutrals/hostiles/friendlies and some people (who are allied towards them) it would give an unfair adavantage. Also do you guys accept "teams" to work together to accomplish it and submit their "flags" in as a group?
