Nice writeup on a great brawl Necro.
When I finally warped out in struc I went to station, repaired (ouch 50 mil bill), and warped back in to remote rep our chimera, arrived too late and realized I was the last capital we had on the field o_0 and with 0/250 cap booster 800 left at that... Someone in a carrier scrambled me, but for some reason lost scram and I managed to Jump out. (my awesome 80 m/s speed? or superlucky ecm support maybe)
Counting capitals afterwards, KIA had 3 carriers right at the start, IAC jumped in 2 dreads and 5 carriers + my bait Archon (hadn't planned on jumping any IAC caps in originally so was rather impressed by how many we managed to field)
0utbreak used a total of 5 dreads and 10-11 carriers I think o_0 Big big mistake fighting in the system they base out of..
We ended up losing 2 dreads, 3 carriers in exchange for a Moros, bunch of support and lots of fighters.
Was epic and I hope we get another big fight sometime soon.
Regarding lag, wasn't bad for me at all, altho my overview somehow managed to merge with my drone control menu leaving me incapable of managing gang, using overview and only barely capable of accessing drones.. That and I was severely out of synch by the end, got a message that our naglfar was 2 au away from me so I couldn't lock him

Mrs. Robinson, breathlessly: "Oh Mr. Debreault, I would never! Please ... please don't spank me ... not with the ... turnip twaddler!"

From an outsiders view:
Excellent battle report. Best I have read in a long while. Reason for it being one of the best: I was able to visualize the fight.
I appreciate a well thought and written report. Kudos!

I didn't have any lag at first, but when we took that moros down that all changed, overview had everyone at 1 mil kms away and screen was just still. Managed to get my carrier out though, good fight!

This summarizes capital combat neatly :
"We baited, dropped caps on them. They dropped more caps on us. We dropped more caps on them. They dropped more caps on us. One side had less caps. That side lost."

Considering how most cap fleet battles have been going recently (read: POS warfare), this fight sounded like a helluva fun fight and a nice breath of fresh air. ----------------------------------------------- Recruitment Thread Human Resources Director, RXA |

Haha yeah, only we were fighting in their home system so they only had to undock and warp instead of cyno in ;i Their guy who lost a moros undocked in a thanatos minutes later ;P
Could've gone differently if we'd been able to keep a gate between us and their reinforcements

It's that I don't have a second moros otherwise I would ahve come back in one again. I had to come in my thantos :P
A battle is way bigger then a loss, we have had people lose 3 ships in that fight. Although I would not have been happy if I would lose my thanatos as well in that battle tho :P

Awesome report!!!
By the way, is it a sign of playing EVE for too long when you just by reading can see the whole thing happening in full graphics infront of your eyes?
And Marko...normally I would scream pics or STFU but in this case...no. Its just too disturbing.
Cheers, Lowa

Except both sides fully enjoyed this engagement
Our caps were, very rightly, scared, the number in local kept growing and the amount of IAC support had us concerned. Also I, and I suspect many others, didn't realize quite how many caps we brought out onto the field until after the fight had ended.

If this is your first report. I would have to say great job on keeping it detailed. With no pos siege just straigth up ship vs ship fight is a good thing to happen once in eve life.

Actually it was like this on vent: "Guys, atm there is 14 red capitals and 7 blue capitals on the gate..." "Whatever, keep shoosting!"
