Ok so I've got my hoarder with all its gadgets, 12 mil, and no idea what to do next. My character is an Entrepeneur setup with little over 830K SP. Just looking for advice as to where to begin trading.

There are programs (EULA abiding ones) that you can export data from Eve into them, and they tell you good trades.
This might be a good starting point to help you find the best trades.
Over time you will know different routes and such that are good, what things get good buy orders, etc.

Quote: where to begin trading.
That can take a wee bit of research... but it will pay off.
There's always the Empire NPC trading (from region to region)... but that's pretty dull, in my opinion.
You might want to find systems that are very close to lo/no-sec war-zones. Transport expendables (such as ammunition & drones) as close as you can; buying cheaply at hub-markets, and selling at a markup at these places.
If you are feeling risky, even taking them in deeper to sell for a bigger markup. Risk is bigger... but so's the payoff.
As an Entrepeneur, you start with a tonne of sell/buy options. Spend a bit of time in a shuttle, checking out prices in a few neighbour regions. (Google "Ombey Maps" for a great downloadable PDF of the Galaxy, and where evrything joins up)
You might also want to consider joining a corporation that deals in trade. Manufacturing corps might also work, as they need many materials transported.
I'm sure others will have more ideas. |

Place some buy orders for minerals and haul them from unpopular locations to high-demand locations. Also have a look at different modules between regions.

you can get your feet wet by doing some arbitrage trading. Pick some items (eg minerals, ammo) in the quick look up section in the market. Check prices frequently. Find pricing discrepancies for items in the region and trade them.
With practise you will get a feel for what has bid/ask gaps. Check the market for items that are rapidly going up or down in price (check market history). These are the best items for arbitrage trade.
I did quite well when the price or pyerite and mexallon were rapidly rising a couple of months back

Eve-Central's trade finder is a decent place to start as well. (Just don't forget to use the MarketUploader to contribute to the cause!) Damage is king, Speed kills, Style is everything Burn with passion, Kill with rage, Live with hope, Die with honor |

Place some buy orders on the market at really low prices (just above the other buyers) for goods you know you can move.
e.g. I have a buy order for 1,000,000 Tritanium at 0.22. I know I can sell it 2 jumps away for 2.01 Cheers Baka ______________________ Have a Skill in training every second of every day and never let your bank balance sink below your skill points. |
