First of all i want to say i'm a guy who tries to understand everything and find a reason behind things that happen.
Last night i encountered a curse and a huggin and engaged them in my drake which kinda blew me of from what i saw happening combined with the gamelogs of that battle.
The curse started to nos me and quite quickly took down my cap. According to the log i ran out of cap 4 secs after the huggin started shooting at me, so far nothing strange as the curse is known for eating cap fast. However i lost my shield so damn fast (first blow instantly took out about 1k shield according to my hud) i started to wonder if i would survive at all. My shield went down to about 30-35% within 47 (according to gamelog) when the battle ended. I quickly took a look at the logs as i wanted to know what the h*ll hit me so hard.
Then i got lost....
A few facts based on what happened ingame and what i read from the log:
- log shows battle took about 47 secs
- log shows no sign of the curse (no drones? no guns? no nothing but nos?)
- log shows Huggin did 1470 damage in 47 sec which is 32 dps avg.
ingame
- I lost visible 10k shield (ended up around 30-35% when the curse and huggin bailed) in 47 secs
- I recharged about 2k shield during the battle
Now i really wonder how it's possible for only the huggin (based on log) to rip 12k shield away in 47 secs. I took 12000 / 47 = 255 dps @ 62% lowest capless resist which means that huggin hat to put out raw 670 dps at least during the whole 47 sec where the whole log only shows 1470 damage in total with a 32dps avg  .
I know a curse can do some major carnage and also a huggin can be a real b*tch but i can't imagine a drake totally fitted for this purpose being whiped out within a min. but purely a huggin firing and a curse nossing  . The logs totally don't correspond with what really happenend on me and i'm totally lost on this.
Anyone?!

Your log is incomplete. Neither of them started warp scrambling you, so why didnt you just warp out?
Could the person shooting you have been called 'Huggin' by any chance  , because certainly on the default settings at least, ship type isn't formatted like that.

No, no and no.
1. I didn't want show the names so i changed all names and shipnames into "huggin"(instead of huginn ).
2. there was no lag at all.
3. it was a proper huginn, not a name (i got the name also).
4. even if it were all true it still doesn't justify the dps i got.

It's not uncommon for a lot of lines to be missing from combat logs, you probably just got pwn'd ;)
Anyone remember that bug where ravens were doing like 15,000 damage per torps, even to frigates... logs show'd that ;P....

Well, that last part was allmost true if i hadn't allmost killed the curse which made him warp off (and i got help at the same moment ).

If the log was only on par with what happened in reality at least i had an idea what went on. Now the log shows 1470 damage where in fact i took about 12k. Combine a maxed out huginn with a maxed out curse i doubt they can do 670dps at all (especially as the huginn had only 3 light normal missiles and (based on log damage) small guns).
I can tank a t2 raven, t2 armageddon and a t2 domi and i can't tank a huginn + a curse for more than a min

Some visual stuff of that log (old log analyzer of mine I have lying around - some lil buggies)
I see 1370 damage total. For some reason I think it got truncated. Though, I've never seen any truncating in any of my logs.
Perhaps someone else can elaborate?

I counted slightly more damage but the damage the log has is way way way out of line with what really happenend. Even when the curse actually would have fired also (in contrary to the log) it would fire with maxed out skills and maxed out mods only 150dps on me with my resists.
It just doesn't add up, a curse + huggin can't do 670dps (raw) and i really don't believe they were maxed out on dps as they both went about 2200-2500ms so they had to have some speed mods which would prevent a maxed out dps setup.
Somehow it just seemed like i had no resist at all and all damages were getting raw on my shields dispite having passive shields, comp skills, and the bc resists. Could this have been a bug where resist were disregarded? Unfortunately the logs don't back this up.
Basically i got 2 probs:
1. how is it possible for a huginn + a curse to ripp 12k shields in 47secs with 62% resist
2. why is the log only showing 1470 damage

If they did enough damage to you it's possible that the pure DPS itself simply burned through the combat logs. Srsly.

lol, i hoped for a bit more "realistic" explanation  . Seriously, it really starts to look like either a big bug or an exploit (i leave cheating out of it as i yet have to see any cheating in this game).
If i would have been killed i would have petitioned it as i would have "proof" of the damage i had taken in the short periode of time (i got killed afterall) but i doubt if a petition would be any use now.
