Capsuleers! Lend Fabuleux your ear for but a moment!
I'm a fashion designer in the Federation looking for for my next muse! Fabuleux has grown weary of looking at the common man for inspiration. To bland! too generic! Just meat wearing cloth! Fabuleux will not find the breakthrough of fashion though them. Thus Fabuleux must look to the gods in the stars!
Fashion is everything, Fabuleux knows this better than anyone! It is your first impression, it is your expression it is your identity! It is life, and as Capsuleers who can escape the end you must tweak your fashion to represent you for your eternal existence! As gods among common men who control wealth of nations. You insure only the most valuable garments touch your skin. Quality not in quality but in meaning! What represents a god? That is why Fabuleux desires to know!
Capsuleers are brilliant scientists! Hard working industrialists! Cunning Traders! Bold adventurers! Skilled soldiers! Fearsome generals and anything they even consider they can be! Each has a style to represent themselves. Fabuleux needs to know!
What Fabuleux asks of you Capsuleers is simple! Provide Fabuleux with a picture of yourself in a outfit that represents you! That speaks for you without words! Fabuleux will provide ten million credits for a maximum of one submission. Fabuleux would die if a single capsuleer would flood him with powerful pictures of themselves!
Any picture of it will do..Whatever it be a Portrait or a picture of you around your captain's quarters. Fabuleux wants to see it...Leave Fabuleux uttering but one word

Let me paint you a picture of what I was wearing on my walks today.
A pair of over two year old black working/hiking boots, not having received the care I should have given them.
A pair of black 3/4 pants, with some wear and tear, partially stitched and patched.
An old black sleeveless shirt, ripped apart at the sides a bit (causing my left nipple to be exposed often), and with so many small holes that it looks like I've taken one or two buckshot rounds to the abdomen over the years.
Why do these clothes express this God's identity? I don't really like throwing stuff away, and it doesn't hurt if I look a little dangerous or...off. Also...the Black.

I believed she mentioned a few times previously that she only wears pants for director meetings.
As for what I wear outside work..well, it's exactly what you are seeing in my portrait, with various T-shirt designs (preferably simple logos), a jacket, cargo pants and boots. As for what I look like at (non-capsuleer) work, I look a little like this apparently (dramatic representation):

What you wear says many things, Fabuleux KNOWS this! The robes and ornaments send a fearful and powerful message to the recruits without you even having to think of a word to say! Fabuleux tends to see this about much of Amarrian fashion. Status is sewed into the gold lined fabric mastetfully. Fabuleux wishes Fabuleux Trends had a stronger market in the Empire so we can gain a better understanding in the craftsmanship that goes into their clothing.

Fabuleux adores theses deisngs and any man or woman who says theses are awful designs are put simpletons who do not understand fashion! Fabuleux's personal favorite has to be the cocktail dress! Such exotic flavor was added to the pattern!

When I am on my homeworld I tend to dress in traditional clothes. However when hanging out with other capsuleers I tend to mostly dress in brands marketed specificly for capsuleers. Here is a little selection of what I tend to wear.

Has Fabuleux ever walked into a garden, closed his eyes, and taken in a deep breath? All the scents from all the flowers to be enjoyed. But can he enjoy them all at the same time or does he have to pick one? Maybe his favourite flower is hiding in a corner yet to be found. And maybe one day his path will bring him past the flower so he can breathe in the scent and be truely amazed.
Unlike the garden, fashion is endless. So there are many flowers that are yet to be picked up. And maybe one day I will come across a Fabuleux Trend product and let it rest on my body.

As Fabuleux has said many times - Fasion is truth. In the army your uniform reflects who you are! You can't say your a Lieutenant if you don't have the sharp uniforming bearing the insignia that proudly represents their rank. Of course now I am pregnant, so this is the best I can do when I try to dress in a Black formal dress but in all candor a loose fitting sweater is far more comfortable these days. |

Used to wear something similar back when I was a marine engineer cadet in the RMS. It's pretty standard for all of us. Several gel layers sandwiched between nanofiber meshes laid atop sweat absorbent layer and micro-electronics to monitor and regulate the wearer's vitals. Gel layers solidify in response to shock.
Though as I understand it, ever since the Dusters showed up, the new variant of standard battle armour comes with composite ceramic plating in an attempt to blunt the overkilling potential of Duster weaponry.
A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

I think the IGS has rules about posting nudity, so my normal choice in attire can't be posted here. When I absolutely have to put something on, I just throw on any old shirt and pants from the clean laundry pile.
A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go.

For planetside protection I prefer an auto-shotgun with my own monofilament bola shells. Not subtle but gets the job done. Usually very quickly. |
