I use my phone on top of a wooden pillar hotspotted, just outside the window of my mancave facing a field and it barely picks up a signal at all out here in the countryside and it's the finest for eve. People these days with their fancy criteria, I tells ya. |

Well, I have a very good 4G coverage, in Switzerland, using this and it works wonder for EVE, I can even play more demanding games like ARK without issues.

Eve needs very little bandwidth. I once spent a week on a holiday and during that week I used my 3G cell phone to provide a hot-spot for my laptop. It handled Eve quite nicely .

Even a 2g connection works to play if you have all the files already, but you still need a faster connection to download the updates etc. A missing texture on the wrong gate can mean death while your client waits to download it. |

I use my prepay phone from out here in the sahara desert to play eve, but I have to close the launcher after starting because even though I have everything downloaded the eve launcher likes to push something in the background and ive used over 500 MB in a couple of hours. other than that 500MB I get for 2 usd last all week if no updates are done.
