Hello,
I am a member of a small industrial corp. A part from building dreads we also run some POS activities, one with some mobile labs on it.
The setup is as follows:
POS in Low-sec system.
Mobile Labs (ofc)
All BPOs safely at station ie we remote install them.
About 14 days ago we unfortunately forgot to renew our office and our lease expired, and we immediately renewed the office. Everything looked hunky-dory until I delivered one of our Capital Component BPOs together with some other module BPOs. I was baffled when I released that they had all purely disappeared, evaporated, gone with the wind.
I searched high and low for them, in all the corp hangars, all the hangars at the mobile lab(s), in deliveries - Nothing!!! We petitioned this of course, and that was 14 days ago and CCP has done nothing!! 
What is happening is that any BPO that is/was installed when our office expired, will disappear when it is delivered. So far we have lost the following (expensive BPOs):
2x Capital Component BPOs
3 x BC Tier 2 BPOs
2 x Cruiser BPOs
a few module BPOs
Total more than 3b worth of assets.
We have continued to chase CCP and GMs via the petition system - but I haven't received a single response yet. I think this is outrageous and borderline of incompetent.
I can only hope that GM's read the forums better than their petitions and that we can finally get this resolved, we want our hard-earned BPOs returned to our corp hangars now. Moral of the story is if you have BPOs installed in a mobile Lab and have installed them from a Station and your rent/office expires - you are ******.
CCP - Please respond/address this urgently!

If you had looked you'd have seen that, at least once per day, someone posts a " OMG My BPO's are missing!!11elventy-make me barf some more-one" thread. However I can understand your need to display your dismay for all the world to see and post about it instead of read about the only possible solution. My only point of contention is with your title. I agree that your bpo's are missing. The value is also not in debate. However I would say that it is not the mobile lab that is broken but your corporate management. Granted we all make such errors but if the bpo's were that darned important to you it would go without saying that not letting such things happen is your responsibility in the first place. So... leave off with the bombastic, "OMGZORZ, X is broken", and just petition it with as much info as you have regarding your missing property. It'll take a few days mind you but that should be a sufficiently poignant lesson about making sure you pay your rentals or continue paying your rentals even though the job will last longer than 30 days (total). ( Believe it or not there are a few geniuses trying this.)
The Eve-Online forums may not have invented whining, but they sure have perfected it.

What a harsh response, are you serious? Obviously this is a bug and not just a problem in his corporate management. Even CCP admits it by giving back the BPOs after a petition. This is something that should be fixed by CCP.
And on another note, I'm thankful that there are some people who take the time to warn others for such bugs. Though he should have at least checked the first page for similar threads.

The fact that the bug exists is not under debate. Its a logical bug as opposed to some sort of game mechanics failure. No one could have rightly presumed such things would happen even though in hindsight we realize how could it not. These kind of "catch 22's" happen often thus the primary reason for GM's and the petition system. Mostly for a "catch 22" even if we had the ideal bug free environment. (I've had a few catch 22's that aren't bugs and the GM's replaced all the lost gear.) As to my response, yeah even living a decaf life I'm still a grumpus. But, well, I never advertised "Kindness included". Besides, we all see people asking, "Oh crap, wtf" all the time. It's the unedumacateds "OMGOZORS, CCP BUGEH!!!" that are just a bit, as I mentioned, bombastic. Whew, so glad they were here to shout out something that was readily known if you simply took a moment to look. Saved us all I tell you. /me shrugs, "I'm a jerk. I'll have my representatives at legal services awaiting your call."

Happens to the best of us. Happened to me a few times before I started the alliance setup. I find petitioning under stuck gets an extremely quick reply, and is not a false petition. Your bpo's really ARE stuck, so it is legitimate.
Most GM's I have spoken too via petition have no problems handling this, but one of our alliance mates had a GM tell him he couldn't petition via stuck any more.
But for your case, I don't see why you couldn't petition under stuck

as i understand it the ofice that run out has an ID
if you rent a new one you get a new ID
so the job cant be delivered
its an oversight ...
as other said you will get your stuff back .. just petition it

Dont worry i had something similar happen, it one of my tech 2 bpo's though it took the GM 3 weeks to sort they did sort it...

++ Just put in a petition, and the GM's will fix it for ya..
It's a design issue, and I'm not sure there is anything that can be done to "fix" the situation..
Yes, this get's posted ALL THE TIME... in the future.. you just need to keep better track of your rental bills, just like everyone else

just as a side note. If you wouldn't have opend a new corp office the bpo's would have been delivered to the deleveries tab. They would be impounded though. Once you would pay the impound bill you would have had the bpo's back. Creating a new office is what has screwed up the system.
I got my bpo back to the not anymore existing corp office this way. When all bpo's where out of research i opened a new office.

This has now been sorted, thanks for helpful replies and GM Rhocyn!
I am still a but worried about the 2 prints that are still labs when this happen but hopefully the GM has reset it..

One question: When this happens, the GMs give you the BPO back with the same ME/PE or a new unresearched BPO? |

ahhh this just happened to me on a regular job, i'd let office rents slip as i've not been playing much recently and then delivered a job. Item arrived but npo went misisng :(
Hopefully GM's can be quick about it :)

the original BPO exists, its just delivered to the wrong location. the GM is just retrieving the original object and giving it back to you.

are the bpo's not in the impounded list and you have to pay to release them?
