tbh i think was a bad call, they are not small auctions, and i for one would not like to manage bigs for multiple billions, possible reaching over 100 billion combined in one thread.. but thats my humble opinion.

I agree. Never seen this before on major auctions, and the final bidding phase for things like ship BPOs (where you'll often have several high-rollers posting fairly rapidly at once) lend themselves to individual auctions as combined ones get messy quickly.
