I intend this thread to be a deliberate, one-month necro in advance. At this time on June 16 (mods permitting), I'd like us to look back at what we say now, and see what comes true of our speculations concerning "Eve War 1."
I'll start off with my predictions. The Coalition, the Alliance, and whatever "neutral observer" (forum alts) that want to pitch in their stuff, for the time capsule, please do so now.
1. Titans will get their long-overdue nerf, and will no longer be able to remote-DD stuff.
2. RA will finally wake up IF BoB gets smug enough to invade their space, and some hurt will finally be dealt out.
3. A BoB titan might, with a few dozen Coalition capships lost in the process no doubt, and with a lot of "BLARGH KILL/DEATH RATIO" babbling following after, be killed. Yes, the first non-metagamed kill of a Titan when the pilot is logged on.
4. ???
5. Profit!

1. BoB Have taken 3/4 if not more of goons space
2. 0utbreak have killed 20 freighters in a month (Come on lads I know you can do it!)
3. RA lose another Mothership
4. Pandemic Legion (Gneeznow especially) are still in Fountain
5. IRON, Sparta, MM have no sovereignty
6. D2 Has merged into Ev0ke
7. I've lost 6 rooks and finally have recons V trained

I assume D2,IRON,IRC,GOON,TCF, are either still sleeping, or have no hurt worth putting out to Alliance forces? Since Alliance forces were obviously smug enough with regards to their space.
Many of us within BOB are looking forward to a fight with RA, whilst i do not know when it will happen, i can be near certain it will occur. I only hope RA lives up to their reputation as a force to be reckoned with.

If you mean the LV one that got coat-hanger'd, that one didnt even have a pilot!

i doubt titans will be nerfed in the next 2 months..
isn't patch scheduled for like august or something ?
i predict cva take 9uy, mc lose a nyx and be kill people in drone regions
no titans will die in next 3 months, more will be fielded, mostly by people in north, maybe RA

i was refering to the one where The Coalition lost 40+ caps to destroy a bob titan in progress, which actually turned out not to be.

Okay, so you're basically reinforcing my point, that NO titans have been lost to anything but metagaming, logging crap.
I guess you forgot the point I was trying to make and instead needed to keep patting yourself on the back for that (meta)gaming victory. Squeeze it for all it's worth, neh?

Iceland will be hit by a thermonuclear explosive fired by the 29th Swiss Soviets Defense Force on June 11th 2007.
A paramilitary force composed mostly of Ex-KGB forces that conspire to bring back Stalin using top-secret cloning techniques. In order to complete their objective they require massive funding, and in the spirit of all evil terrorist organizations the best way to go about this is to hold the world hostage for funds.
Their target of choice is Iceland due to it's weak military and lack of a proper counter-terrorist force to defend them selves. With most of the western world being wrapped up in the middle east, this was their shinning moment to strike. The demands sent to the Icelandic Chancellor of Central Affairs was met with ridicule. As such, the SSDF decided that the only course of action was a show of force.
Eve was shut down shortly after the attack. Eve War I shall forever be a stall-mate.

By far the best post so far.
My two cents.
1. RA Does something that will impact the war greatly
2. The north pulls the RA card after getting pushed into 1 system, and then bursts forth leaving a trail of dead.
3. I Actually get a Rook, field it, and lose it in aforementioned "bursting forth."
4. The artist behind the "Noobie Tacklers Save the Day" sketch as well as so many more will publish the entirity of his Goon inspired works in a book called "Ham and Co. Ode to Remedial."
5. Arrow continues to beat up Roadkill and Smash!

thekiller8 will come back and make another uber flash movie that makes everyone soo happy that the war ends.
The eve universe will then join forces build multiple jump bridges (with the help from Eris Discordia - Dynamic Content Team person) and invade Jove space, holding the devs ransom for new nodes.
2 months after there will be 1 node for each system, and rev 2 will hit early.

Well lets see.
If we get Revelations 2 in the next 30 days:
1. Titan's will be nerfed, they will lose their ability to remote detonate.
2. Carrier's will be nerfed, only able to assign fighters at line of sight.
(The above two are based on Oveur's blog)
I believe in the next 30 days there will be a significant battle that will once again change the tone of the war. Where that battle might occur I'm not going to predict. It is more likely to be in the southeast/south than in the north though. During the Battle it is likely that BoB/MC or others on their side may lose significant capital ships.

Every ship will be given a module that reduces it to 0m/s topspeed and makes any sort of decisive combat take 20 + minutes.
Or at least every ship that matters. Battle reports will continue to be about who can find the nicest way to say "Things sat still next to eachother and fired".

1) Lots of small battles that mean nothing.
2) Huge blobs and POS Spam on both sides.
3) No clear change on any front other than a handful of systems changing hands on both sides.
4) People still asking who is winning with both sides saying they have caused more isk damage than the other.
5) A unified field theory is created that can combine quantum physics and astrophysics. Both sides take credit but neither can explain how it works or why it is useful.
6) Drone regions continue to be borked.
