I miss the one that came with Red Moon Rising and to be honest, I liked changing my scheme with the expansions even when it wasn't the best. I do have to add the slight caveat that I'm partially red/green color blind, so perhaps those bright colors aren't such a heavy contrast to the rest of you. Actually, it's probably because of my difficulty picking out reds that I go for a neutral-black background. Else I can't always tell when I'm red-boxed by battleships, especially with the new nebulas brightening up the sky.
