Hi
I want to do ninja gas mining in a WH.
So I have setup a Dscan profile so I can check if the WH is occupied and if there is recent activity.
So I have ships, wrecks, control tower, probes, drones and force field. Is there anything else that would be useful please? |

Dont have all that up at once, have like a few seperate filters. When i go to a wormhole to check its activity/runnability, i first dscan towers/citadels to see if there are any. Then i scan with NO filters to see everything on scan, then when I am finally ready to mine/relic/whatever, i set it to ONLY ships so i can see if someone is trying to kill me |

after you finish the initial check for towers and what not, you only need ships and probes.

You can also check zkillboard for that system to see if any groups regularly hang out there. If so its possible they might already have the gas site scanned down. |

You can ninja huff even in a active wormhole.
Warping off from the gas site is easy, you will most likely get away.
But where you warp determines what happens then.
Did you land to a random safespot where you cloak?
Oh now the locals have bubbled all the holes and are rolling them.
Do you have probes?
Can you just log off and probe your way out some other time when the locals are not active.
Locals are not the only ones that you need to consider.
There's always cloakies watching you, maybe he came from where you did?
Hunting in wspace is easy as just picking a system with good sites, cloak and wait.
Netflix and wait.
Hit dscan.
Oh someone is probing here!
Dscan some more, get intel who and where he came.
Juicy target doing pve?
Less juicy target but you have an itchy triggerfinger.
Ping for backup but make sure they stay one jump out or in login screen.
Set the trap off and pew pew pew pew (cat meme goes here). |

^not wrong. I almost warped on top of the latest victim I killed because I wasnt actively dscanning. Poor alpha guy was sitting off a wormhole. He didnt make it back. |

DId you just bought this toon or just completely new to gas mining?
If this toon has come combat skills, our wormhole corp can teach you how to manage in wormholes, kill the sleepers, join our small gangs etc..
Could be fun :)
