Whilst I as a player may admire anyone spending time to enrich the eve universe - Several of your articles in particular have been shockingly biased - with no attempt to promote journalistic integrity. In real life - your paper would have sunk without a trace under a Libel case. And i thought I was fairly constructive... i didnt just post U SuCKETHzor! or whatever people normaly type. SKUNK

After all, he's just **ing and moaning that we never said anything nice about the Pirateers. Which is fine, there's really nothing to be said about them past noting their wardec spam of the past, as they were never a truly coherent empire. But please, and whine all you want. It's good to get it out. One day you'll learn to read the posts and see what you're crapping on about... isn't there. As a side note, we normally get people screaming we're the most biased when we say something that's completely accurate, and not favourable to them. It they made an attempt at being constructive to the people they write about - your point might have stood. SKUNK Naturally its biast. The notion of non biast reporters and/or newsoutlets is a myth. Lets use a real life example, Fox News, need I say more... Mr M is producing a the paper that he wishes to produce based on the aricles he and others have put together. So you dont like the articles.. well you now have 2 choises: #1: Dont read it. #2: Submit your own articles. Do not missunderstand me now, even if you submit an aticle on male hands typing about their avatars lovely feminine hair, beautifull eyes and whatnot, that is not a guarantee he will publish it. I especially find it rather humorous that the females in the Miss New Eden contest are not avatars but ships and nomatter my gender a ship is always a she. Thus I should really add a third choise to the above two... #3: Read the paper before flaming it.

People come on - Post a) A whine b) A self aggrandising speech And the following 300 posts are from people who have already made their mind up either way. Take a look at any BoB thread as an example that has nothing to do with me ( I care neither way). Do you think that despite many many man hours of typing in these threads. Anyone from either side has suddenly gone: < OMG. They are Right!. Ive been tottlay wrong! Im leaving BOB/GOONS and will mine 10 hours a day as penenace for my evil crimes! The answer is NO. Noone has. You can quote - and debate - and pick out points in a nice list. The next guy simple edits out everything he cant argue with and quotes the one thing he has an issue with. It goes back and forth untill someone says "Well im leaving now - coz you are a noob 10 year old. I won this argument and we both know it but im not wasting anymore time on you" or some such rubbish. I could point you to two horribly biased 'anti privateer' articles where we were refered to as the 'eve mujahadeen' (guilty of being distastefull at least in the present climate) as evidenc of their being a rag - but one of their guys has admited its not a serious paper already. As for 'reflectin on my corp' people should know by now Privateers a) arent all tarred by the same brush - whatever that is and b) your in a npc corp? SKUNK

How many people are in privateers, and how many are out? We write articles with the interests of a lot of people in mind from Empire dwellers, 0.0 Alliance warfighters, lowsec pirates. Of all of those, there are dozens of groups and all of them are explicitly threatened by a group that attacks everyone without hesitation. Note, that isn't this really a form of indescriminate terrorism? To force otherwise peaceful mish-runners and carebears to have to use alts or bail out of small corps/alliances, else they'll have minor haulers, shuttles, etc ganked? Please, if you want to think of it this way, the wardec limit lets you actually be privateers taking contracts to go after a few people with organized piracy, instead of a giant scheme to give people as many victims as possible for a pittance of a cost. It's a pretty obvious fact that the vast majority of Eve does not sympathize with Privateers, much like in the same way a vast majority don't sympathize with macrominers or RL cash trade isk sellers.
