Err....for me to delcare war.
1 man and 5 inactives versus the 73 strong corp of LEGI0N.
Unimportant and likely suicidal...but it'll be fun.

Well you just delcare whatever you want.
As soon as we understand what you mean that is. Isn't it somekind of cookie? delcares something?

Hurrah!
Thank you for pointing out that deliberate mistake Beavershot...Of course in the last statement I obviously meant to state I do indeed like cookies, though of any brand, not just Delcares...But rather than this mastication vociferation:
I have important unimportant news...
FIRST BLOOD!
(The following war report is 100% accurate and unedited.....at least from 1 side in this conflict)
After several scrapes and some hairy interceptor dogfights almost ending in the destruction of your's truely I have struck the first blow of this bitter (& peanuts) war.
After a short hunt in Mamet, a LEGI0N member was discovered docked in an Imperial Armaments station. Obviously after I docked, word of my presence on the station came to Boris2k's ears and seeking a speedy escape, he undocked to make a run for it.
This maneuver was anticipated and was to prove futile as I undocked right behind him and unleahed 5 Hammerhead II's and 14 rounds of Medium Void from '♣ Lucky ♣' my trusty Deimos, to permanently decommision a LEGI0N Rupture (sounds like a nasty medeval medical condition!).
Hurrah for the underdogs and little men everywhere!
Well word of this fearsomely unimportant display must be spreading through the LEGI0N's ranks, and their morale appears to be weakening as they appear to have now lost 2 members. The odds are improving daily...Now at 1-71 with the TOTE.
This brings the total loss statistics for this war to a staggering amount:
ABVSS: 0 losses LEGI0N: 1 loss totalling roughly 14,000,000 ISK!!! (shocking huh!)
(this does not include a PRE-'unimportant war' LEGI0N loss of 1 Ishtar pirate vessal destroyed in CVA space with antipirate assistance.)
And theres more!!!
...LEGI0N have obviously conveined their war council which obviously decided to attempt to deter ABVSS by forming a new alliance 'SOUL CARTEL'. Could this signal their intent to seek help to deal with ABVSS? Or could be an attempt to deter ABVSS financially from continuing the onslaught by raising the weekly fee by 98 Million ISK?
Whatever their intent my goal is as clear and focussed as ever - to have a laugh and to fight pirates and those who threaten my home (and the attached abused tortoise sanctuary upstairs).
Though to be honest their financial deterrent will probably succeed unless some magnanimous benefactor (perhaps Delcare Cookies?) is willing to help fund this all unimportant venture.
Can you taste blood? They are on the ropes....I can feel it? I've nearly won...!
Keep in touch blow by blow with this all unimporatant war via the:
ABVSS Killboard
Cheers and apologies to all who read this far - It really probably was not worth it...Better luck next time!

If you liked what was before you're going to love this one....I'm still laughing myself.
A FATAL BLOW FOR ABVSS
After a fairly slow evening (just 1 Vagabond kill pretty much solo in my Myrmidon) in CVA space...I decided to take my trusty tech 2 fit Hyperion up to hunt my foes LEGION of SOUL CARTEL in their HQ system of Kheram 0.4, where a member was spotted.
Alas this proved no more fun since the fellow appeared docked and afk...or living in fear of his colleagues experience if not docked....
Anyway after sitting watching a gatecamp at the Mista gate with several pirate battleships versus a neutral Thanatos (the pilot of which 'Rutherford', despite my offer of assisstance, never wanted it). Eventuly I saw more and more reds piling in along with people trying to bump me away from the gate...
So...I jumped to Mista.
LOW AND BEHOLD....MORE TARGETS
I spot 2 more war targets, but whats this...?!? LEGI0N had indeed been busy as the SOUL CARTEL alliance had recruited another corp!!!
These 2 new targets actually belonged to DOMINATIO (no zeros!!)...Rawr - I figured they'd not know what hit them so quickly proceeded to track them down to the Hedion station in Mista.
Huzzah I cried as I saw one of them outside the station in a hauler...All guns were activated and locked on the hauler and....and....
I docked.
Like a muppet, rather than warping to the station, I'd hit the dock command instead...
The next 20 frantic seconds were spent undocking and reloading space. Tense moments where I wondered if they'd realised I'd locked him and hopes, thinking maybe he was afk.
These hopes were sadly dashed when I saw outside and there was noone. The blighter must have docked in sheer panic I figured, so i maneuvered my ship to the optimal range from the undocking port and waited...
Only seconds passed and low and behold...A Brutix begins undocking with a red small colourtag - OPEN FIRE I shout - your Brutix will be no match for my Hyperion..
Anyway - the moral of this tale is to remember to check your target in Empire wars thoroughly before firing.
30 Seconds later I was staring all these grey neutral ships with red crosses firing at me....Oh ****, and then at my pod.
Local was filled with 'LOL WTF MAN?!? - WHAT YOU FIRING FOR?!?'....
Then it dawned on me that the red indeed was just that...."**CK, SH*T, B*TCH" I'm sorry to say was shouted in local, to which he laughed some more...
Unfortunately I'd fired upon a member of AAA The Collective pilot (Ryan 3c051)...Who are also red to me! Oops!
After some laughs from both parties after I explained my war to Ryan in local (noticing my targets had left) since I could do little else but laugh - I then agreed to give Ryan the hilarious kill mail in exchange for my loot :-)
An honourable chap...Ryan gave me my loot which probably totalled 20 Mil and then went on his way with a smile on his face...and warning not to get too comfortable even in CONCORD protected space!
On the other hand although smiling, I lost an estimated 200 Mil in weapons, modules, rigs and ship!! Doh!
A FATAL...ALBEIT SELF INFLICTED BLW FOR ABVSS !!!
Time will tell tomorrow if I can swing back the fine balance of this war in my favour...Hehe - There's still time! But lesson learnt - always go to bed when you think you're really tired....
Goodnight.

Thanks for the support folks. I'd encourage all 1 man corporations to pick a tough target and try this.
Last night I joined with some Providence locals to dispatch another LEGI0N Megathron. Unfortunately his companion in a Vagabond escaped.
However later that night Propolis... (the Megathron pilot, local smack dealer, and deciding factor in why I chose LEGI0N)...was spotted in Mamet in a Vindicator.
We headed over and he was sat outside a station. I managed to bump him slightly away and engage dual webs and we got him to about 75% armour (while he moaned loudly about not being able to dock in local), but eventuly he managed to dock.
Lucky for him it was just a scare this time...
2 more days left of the CONCORD war - something I know LEGI0N will be relieved about, but I've nly got early today to make an impact due to pressing 'best man' duties on erm...luminaire.
Drink and be merry folks - war goes well!

LEGI0N TAKE ANOTHER SOUND BEATING !!
After a tactical pause in the war for a couple of days...for drinks and festivities (well...more drink! ), today saw some of the most bitter fighting to date.
I recieved intel of a LEGI0N Muninn (pilot: Dionisius) in my area so I decided to hop into my trusty Myrmidon 'Styx' and hunt the philandering offender.
The hunt was a slow affair - my offers of a duel were ignored and I lost track of him once or twice, before eventuly his support - A Megathron (piloted by Franconis) and less experienced Vexor (pilot: Molto Scarso) showed up, putting me on the defensive.
I continued to persue and managed to muster 2 locals in support of my cause and welcome them into the gang.
As we were forming up, my support (A Raven and Hyperion) were persuing the incoming enemy Megathron in the adjacant sytem, who was seperated by a jumpgate from his friends (in the system with me).
I naturally made best speed for that gate and arrived right on time to engage and tackle the Megathron as he entered, while my support followed him through...
The Muninn and Vexor quickly arrived leaving me 1v3 for a moment while my support decloaked and attacked the Megathron I'd called primary. Luckily I had my EC-900 drones focussed on the Megathron, and a solid anti-explosive tank fitted meaning I could resist the Muninn for as long as necessary.
THE BATTLE WAS BRUTAL - 15+ drones, missiles, t2 autocanons, L Neutrons, and no chance of anyone warping out!!
My tank was holding well even dispite my stupidly late activation of my cap 400 boosters. I only activated them when my cap was at about 10% and after 2 cycles they were reloading!
The Megathron was being torn into though, and when he went into hull, I was on roughly 10% armour with ZERO cap! This prompted me to switch my ECM drones to the Muninn.
The tactic must have paid off as after going down to 75% hull while my cap boosters reloaded, the Megathron was finally dispatched, and then the Muninn appeared to lose a lock on me so my damage slowed to almost zero. This brief respite proved decisive as I switched my 2 NOS, dual webs and warp disruptors onto the Muninn and as my twin armour repairs managed to begin to revive my ship - this is when I knew the battle was won!
My support then greviuosly ripped apart the floundering Muninn while the Vexor made a dash for it. He got away, but the less experienced pilot warped back a moment later either to try to retrieve his comrades loot or to escape towards empire space.
Needless to say he was quickly mopped up and joined the fleeing pod-party.
A FLAWLESS VICTORY...
A quick assessment now shows the LEGI0N firmly on the back foot...having now lost 5 ships for no reply with my only loss being inflicted by CONCORD...The CONCORD sanctioned war has 2 more days to run. Though LEGI0N seem to be getting braver and venturing in gangs into Providence's 0.0 so this war will I'm sure continue out of the remit of CONCORD.
The morale of LEGI0N today took another horrible blow though, and they only show 63 members...Perhaps I should offer them surrender terms?
Or perhaps some of thier member losses could be attributed to restructuring within their new SOUL CARTEL alliance - Needless to say though - the FEAR has been seeded deep in the minds of their pilots, and no number of new clones or corps will erase the punishment and wrathe dished out by ABVSS to them so far!
Stay tuned for the concluding 2 days of encounters in this 'unimportant war' from my fully biased and 1 dimensional perspective! Transmission ends....

WAR IS OVER....Though peace is kind of over-rated
Indeed - the CONCORD war is over...however not without a final flourish!
One final encounter took place in Kheram after I repeatedly tried to get a 1v1 in my Brutix against a LEGI0N Harbinger piloted by Militia.
He refused the 1v1 for a lack of trust in me - claimed I'd have friends interrupt the fight...Well shame on him for not trusting me and questioning my honour! I then got my frineds and made him pay!
I was so disappointed not getting my duel that I left the area I was hunting him in, formed gang with 2 friends and came back for him. It was a rather opportunistic piece of luck that we actually found him on a gate with his corpmate (a battlecruiser) as we jumped in.
I engaged him as his friend immediately warped out, just as my friends were jumping in...I was very worried for a moment as my zero tank/pure gank Brutix was down to 50% armour before his Harbinger even lost its shield!
Thank heavens for those ECM drones though - again I was given enough respite thanks to the lock breaking to roast his LEGI0N ship before he even got a lock! I think that brought me to 7-0 vs LEGI0N (not including the CONCORDOKKEN I suffered)...Not bad stats for a noobie looser PVPer like me versus a 73 strong pirate/merc corp!
Anyway - I was reluctant to pay 100 Mil for these guys since they keep venturing into Providences 0.0 more frequently in larger gangs....The fight will very much continue despite the End of the war.
I also havehad the tragic loss of my ratting Deimos (to a roving AAA gang), my EOS (by jumping in stupidly vs Sleipnir, 2 Vagas, claw and sabre gang) and a Celestis all on the same day!
With the EOS I definately got a bit*****y - as funnily enough I'd hunted 2 LEGI0N Vagabonds earlier that day, tanked them both with ease and killed most of their drones before they had pulled out. COWARDS!!!
I'd also tanked 2 AAA Vagabonds, A sabre and a claw and managed to actually survive to kill the claw who made the mistake of getting too close that same day. However, the losses later on have been costly...
Other costs aside - the fight will continue versus LEGI0N and the SOUL CARTEL, however I'll probably be using purely interceptors and Myrmidons from now on, and the fights will all be in Providence 0.0!
I am however closing this thread as the official war is finally over....
I'd like to thank those who have given me support and have enjoyed reading my exploits. I think a war against the odds is a great way to learn to fight and I hope this inspires more 'little folk' like me to take up arms and stand up for what they think is right.
Thank you all for reading. I salute you all.... o7 - And watch out for the ABVSS alliance coming soon to do 'unimportant' stuff near YOU!!
