I'm new obviously, just looking for some hot market areas that I can ship my items to when I am ready to sell them... and/all information here would be appreciated :)
I'm currently in the lonetrek region, but willing to move.
Post the most used, your personal favorites, and/or whatever you like. Thanks a bunch.

Go to these places:
Amarr, Yulia, New Caldari and Luminaire(sp) solarsystems
These are the highway system and always have a very active markets. Lots of undercutting. Be prepared to sell for the lowest price.

Yulai - X - DED Assembly Plant is the center of all trades in my opinion.

Now that we are on the subject, I've got one more opinion to ask from anyone willing...
What are some of the best methods of selling items? Just go to a populated area and put up a reasonable Sell Order? Or searching for places in short supply and selling there. Also, do most people travel to buy things cheaper? Or do they not mind spending more so that they do not have to go anywhere...
Just looking for some generic answers here to give me a better idea on how to start trading, thanks :)

Good to see a fellow trader!!

For player trading, almost anything goes - get what people want, when they want it, at the price they want...
For NPC trading, place some buy orders and resell the goods to the highest bidder...

That all depends on the player, just like you chose to trade instead of mine/fight/manufacture. I personally will always travel to the lowest price possible - but then, I'm always travelling, so I don't mind. If I'm in a bind, I will sometimes buy directly at the station I'm at for whatever the price is there...
Hope that helps a bit...you'll learn more strategy as you start looking at profit margins, etc., and becoming more familiar with the big picture.
Enjoy!

hehe thanks to the info, and I definitely do look forward to jumping into the whole trading game.
Btw, I'm not interested in *just* trading, just looking for some additional income from the items I find from hunting NPC's and from agent missions...
Some items I *know* have more market value than pure mineral value, just gonna take me a while to get a better grasp. Most the items I find are basic n00b items, but I still do get the occasional goodies (like 16 homeless, Nanite Engineering skill, RDb's, R.A.M. tech's, etc) thats the type of items I'm looking to trade, mostly agent rewards, and the occasional NPC looted item.
Having the right area is a good place to start though, so this thread has helped a ton.
