Rate of fire, that is.
I've been mucking about with my Ferox (I know, I'm lame for not driving around in something more uber), but since it has the hybrid bonuses, I've been toying around with raising the rate of fire more than anything else.
For those of you running rails, is there a "best" combo of items that really raise your ROF to an extreme level?
Yeah, I've got controlled bursts and rapid firing, etc. as skills.

dual 75mm rails, +5% RoF implant, rapid 5, gunnery 5.
Other than that I cant think of anything.

There's no point raising rate of fire as it will just increase your cap usage. Just fit 3 damage mods and max out your skills, and that is pretty much the best you can do.

It does, but it also raises the cap usage. Increasing the damage modifier is better IMO, atleast for guns that use cap.

I'd like to introduce you to the Mag Stab II not only does it increase your ROF but it increases your dmg mod as well.
Fit 4 of them to your ferox and that'll give you as high a ROF and dmg mod as you can get (baring skills and implants).

O yeah...faction/office mag stabs are even better. and other mag stabs do the same thing just not as well.

O yeah...faction/office mag stabs are even better. and other mag stabs do the same thing just not as well.
I have a ROF rig and two mag stabs and the skills.
Going to do a little target practice with 5 x 150mm IIs to see if I have a good anti-frig platform.

A cormorant will be scarier to frigs, cheaper to fit, and about just as intimidating as a Ferox.
That ship is in such dire need of loving...

I tried going the Cormorant route, and I loved it.
Except when I tagged along with others, and got vaporized.
