I keep getting this strange graphics bug after EVE runs for a long period of time.
How do I get rid of it?

Whoa. I'd say that your textures are getting hosed. If you relog does it come right back? It might be a heat issue with your graphics card, perhaps the texture memory getting a bit scrambled. Or it might be the texture files for EVE get corrupted, but in that case they should stay corrupted until a re-install. ---------- The right to do something doesn't make doing it right. |

Jeez, if that doesn't look like EVE scrambled with a Dance Dance Revolution nightmare....
Anyway, I'd have to agree with Terghon. Heat does bad, bad things to a graphics card, and this looks like a classic symptom. Make sure that your card's fan works properly and that you have adequate airflow in the case. Try playing with the side of the case off for a while and see if that makes a difference. ------------------- Signature removed pursuant to Gallente Federation protocol 37285-7DS-518: Did not contain enough references to drones. |

I have a GTS, no bug.
What are your system temperatures like? Also, try reinstalling the client as that should remake the textures.

Yup i use an overclocked GTX with no issues and temp runs at 69 degrees under load. try the 160.30 beta drivers on guru3d. all 'official' gtx/gts drivers are pants. Had good reports with the 160.xx series tho and I use them on an 8800, 6600 and an FX5600 with no probs or stabilty issues. ........

I have the exact same problem, have had for months. Never set aside a chunk of time to try to figure it out though.
It ONLY happens when I'm running multiple clients and shut one of them down. The graphics on the other one (or two depending) both immediately go screwy just like the posted pic. I have to close all clients and relog....problem goes away. This happens constantly and is irritating as I'm constantly running multiple clients... ANY help is greatly appreciated
