Peter Cullen and Stan Bush's involvement is definitely a good thing, but they should have brought in Frank Welker as well. The first thing I thought of when I saw the Hoover Dam was the G1 comic where the Insecticons try to take control of a human to shut the dam down, and Optimus sends the newly designed Aerialbots to save the dam from a giant drill appearing in front of it via the space bridge. Complicating things further was that Wheeljack hadn't yet finished programming the Aerialbots to respect humans except for Silverbolt, and when they formed Superion, the clash of merged personalities became an issue when the human, himself fighting for self-control under Bombshell's influence, had Megatron in his hand in gun mode pointed at Superion. And that's just one example of the many great stories that already exist within the already well-defined Transformers universe. But then again, people will watch giant robots pew pewing. Confused giant robots and space bridges... not so much. The story has to appeal to those who have never heard of transformers, those who have never seen the origional, those who have, and those who just like eye candy. Sometimes its hard to see an old title you like getting screwed around with (see the godawful shadowrun fps) but then again, sometimes its better to move on and just enjoy it.

I am a HUGE Transformers fan and when i heard that Mr Spielberg was undertaking the movie, I knew it was in good hands. He is a genious at what he does imo, and really dont think anyone else is as talented as he to ungo this project. With all updates, some things need to be changed for the times, and having BumbleBee as anything other than a bug seems unjust and punishable by death. But keeping 100 per cent true to the 80's show would hurt this movie. I'm sure they kept alot, if not most of the things that made the show of popular in ie, Peter Cullen as the voice for O.P And I like how they took some transformers from different eras of the series and blended them into one movie. Thats so freaking awesome(though im strictly a G1 fan). Ohh and btw I'm a Spielberg and Bay fan as well. What you gotta say about that??! AND I cried at the end of Armageddon. I'll be at the Theaters all day on 7.4.7., going to see it as many times as i can. Does that make me ghey????

So, my friends and I go inside, and we all get 'interrogated' by 'government agents' inside this semi trailer converted into a fake command center, with video screens and all that lining the walls. Was a good trailer, and we got free Prime posters at the exit .

Its a shame about Jazz, he is one of my favs from G1. Also if you watch the trailer frame by frame, BumbleBee is missing his legs when hes riding and firing on the back of that wrecker(maybe thats Ratchet) I've seen an international trailer showing Blackout using his copter blades as hes walking down the street, too freakin sweet.
