Which alliance(s) do you respect for smack free local, and friendly convos in combat. Likewise for the alliance/corp(s) that you know talk way too much Smack whenever they show up on local. "preferably that you've gone against more then allied with".
Respect List:
TCF: During battle for I-N local remained smack free and some good conversations reguardless of fact we were on opposite sides of war. Enemies or not, you guys have my respect. Hats off to ya ^^.

Hmmm, i think the only guys who pop to mind are outbreak during the fountain fighting. Was always a pleasure and never hard feeling, just fleet and gang lovin. I think abit of friendly smack is healthy, certainly seems in alot of places some folks need to grow thicker skin.
Smack ingame and in character is fun and sometimes is useful to get an opponent angry so that they will fight you.
Edit - Forgot to add, worst smackers i've come across is goons. Everyone has there own sense of humour and community humour and such but it doesn't appeal to me personally

Agree, TCF were a pleasure to fight, the only smack coming from goons during that long week, even bitter enemy's UNL kept it smack free, and they had every reason to gloat.

RISE - in-game at least (on the forums they can be a bit smacky, but then so can pretty much everyone)
FREGE - they were always getting spanked but always had a laugh about it
Actually most people are pretty decent really, even BE can be quite pleasant in local.

I remember one little battle ini this campaign where we had a few skirmishes in the same system, Then Outbreak set up on one of the gates and waited for the BoB warp in.
A few minutes pass and there's no sign of BoB, We wait a little longer, then the Outbreak FC convo's the BoB FC:
Outbreak FC: Where are you? We're set up on the (whatever) Gate.
BoB FC: Are you? Oh, we're set up on the station.
Outbreak FC: Really? erm, ok. Should we come to you or are you coming to us?
BoB FC: We came to you last time iirc.
Outbreak FC: Ok, we'll be there in a mo.
BoB FC: Ok, see you soon.
Happy days.

Hey english you forget the one where we warped in to attack BoB from the gate to the station, at the exact time BoB warped to the gate from the station to attack us. A private convo between the FCs soon got us shooting each other....fun times
I'm not really sure in terms of the OP, again in the fountain campaign v. BoB i remember very little smack.

I think I set the record for most BoB battleships lost by one FC in that fight, cant remember but it was a lot. I just wanted to blow up Marko but nooooo 
Since then Evil Thug has came along and Nuked some other BoB FCs fleet and gave them the honor of Biggest Loser. Think it was TWD,... or Blacklight...maybe Molle.... Best odds are that it was Thol tho. All I know is that it wasnt me \o/

Lot of love goes out to FIX on this particular count; they've always been real gentlemen in combat. For something more recent, I've had good experiences with Triumvirate.
Worst I've seen definitely goes to Burn Eden (surprise surprise!  ), with elements of -A- coming quite neatly in #2.

BoB have always been very classy in this regard.
Fate was also a pleasure to fight with. The couple of times I fought them they were great in local afterwards.

I don't get you lot "I respect them because they don't smack." what? How is the absence of smack a requirement for respect? Personally i think it's funny and fights are that much more entertaining when your oponent starts smack talking in local.

Outbreak - some of the classiest guys i've seen. My hat is lifted to you they bring it, and then don't complain afterwards, nor gloat.
Apart from that, havn't really been involved in much fleet action, so can't say i've seen much smacking from anyone really.
Edit: I also have lots of respect for FIX and their members - some fun times down in ED-

Honestly, shouldn't respect be earned? I don't think the box said it was included with my $15 subscription fee. If we have a nice fight or you pull a good trick on me, hats off to you and I'll say so. But if you're being lame (logging a freighter off in a bubble, ratting with stabs/cloak, you consistently refuse to engage when you have a clear in-space number/tonnage advantage) then I don't have any problems letting you know that I don't appreciate your style of play very much. And if you do something incredibly stupid, I'm probably not going to insult you but I'm defintely not going to pretend it was great. PVP isn't sex.

I found that Xelas were generally a friendly bunch when I was in fountain. Compared to others I have fought in the past.
From certain other groups I have seen stuff you would expect from maybe a backwards 10 year old.

Certain members of IAC, good sense of humor and good sports no matter if they win or lose.

I've had some good times talking in local with almost all my enemys. I actually make a point of chatting people up about the weather, sports, or how embarassed i am about how i just died.
I can recall a particular gistii fitted inty i lost in 0.3 to the gate sentrys, then joked about until the gang was headed in the other direction to join back up with.
I also had some fun with the ISS guys this past winter durring our thing. Some of you may remember when i posted the orignal pictures of my tinfoil hats in local durring a battle for zxic.

Good Smacking people: The Priory, didnt like them at all at the start, but they kind off "grew" when I met them under a long period, and they are a fun bunch.
Bad smackers: Tyrell Corp
Was smackfree and good spirits when IAC helped HUZZAH against BoB, and we even saluted BoB when they went home after their roadtrip, they saluted HUZZAH, I would like to see more of those things.
...you women are creepy, but amusing as hell.

When I was trying to do my little RP news agency I had good responses from R0adkill, SMASH, Hell Hounds, and Tactical Narcatics Team. No Smack from any of those (that doesn't mean they didn't chase me on occasion...)
I received smack from Quam Singularity and also from The Guardian Coalition. It should be noted that LRC the corp that provided most of the smack I got back then from OWN3D is now a member of SMASH, and that The Guardian Coalition seems little more than held by a holding corp, Far Reach Systems, at this time.
With CoW moving to Geminate to war, maybe I can get back to my little reporting :), I had more success there than I have with trying to report on the big alliances, since most of them won't talk to me

BoB - couple years ago fixvsbob and the latest in fountain was some off the best pvp i have had, and funny chatts to. Also the absolutly hardest. If u missed by a milli sec u where dead.
