snip i believe the score was 25 or 26 to 5 BS kills in favor of OC
i have no idea what the score was for non BS kills and as no one seems to be keeping track, it seems irrelevant.
suggested format (to avoid needless, self-righteous locking of the thread):
name of victim type of ship destroyed podded yeah or nay location name of killer date
let the saga continue.....
thanks and have a great day

Edited by: Kirin on 07/01/2004 01:41:31 I believe the topic is now CA v. SA score as Omega are no longer in Stain and have joined up with CA. ONly the rare occasion do we see an Omega pilot in stain now and then when they clone hop into the region, but then we gladly assist them in their clone hop back to empire.

The score is 24-4 OC/OTA favor as of 1-05-04. We will not count kills in this thread that involved large joint C4/CA battle groups.

Hehe, yea, I really like Pulp Fiction, and anyone who does should notice I've rewritten Samuel L Jackson's Ezekiel 25:17 scene.

Well actually we try and keep and honest date of kills to give the population of eve an idea of what is going on.
I know that when wars take place on eve and your neutral you are always curious as to what is actually going on. A lot of the threads are full of flamining and what not so its hard to get an idea.
Anyways i appreciate how u may of got hte wrong end of the stick with this post, it is not us banging our chests, just trying to manually put together a feature that should be in the game. A frag count if you were, so we wouldn't have to discuss and often argue over what actually happend.
Btw kills in eve do make me feel good in real life, i mean it's a game and when i kill something its fun :).

Stain alliance 800 members C4 alliance 100 members
there for c4 has 8x as many targets. So you're little score chart should be divided by 8 for an accurate account.
Espically since stain can make 8 times the cash and losses are not as devastating to us.
So the real score is 3 to 4 in favor of SA.
Happy mathing. Civil Deity

BS kills will be slower as we spend some time reinforcing CA and many SA are now using frigs and cruisers. Funny how they flame us for using frigs and cruisers then start using them frequently themselves.

Heh.
Civ, your inability to effectively spin mathematical data is only surpassed by your inability to lead a military force.
At least you're good at coordinating mining operations.

thanks for keeping the flaming to a minimum
to whomever asked about why they are posting the scores...it keeps the rest of the community informed regarding the progress of hostilities. while i am not involved in the conflict, everything that i read before the beginning of hostilities generated a lot of interest in me personally and i'm sure the community as a whole. what better way is there to see how the tides of war are turning than to keep score?
i respect both sides for being able to keep strictly about the numbers.

wait wait...
so OC is going to post all their kills in this thread on the eve-online public forums?
roflrofloroflrofoooofl.
I'm glad you guys have enough self esteem these days.
this thread will be locked, as it should be, for several reasons:
1) a new thread to continue an old thread is ono bad.
2) rooofle owned scrubs OC needs a thread in the eve forums to post their kills.
If you are going to continue this chest pounding, every corp in eve should get their own thread to boast kills/ship types/times/locations/ect.
Draklar is so cute. I want to fondle him. Alas, he will only be found in the midst of large fleets to protects his shrunken bits. |

problems with your statements homo....
i started the thread because i was interested about what was happening in Stain. i have no connection to OC, nor do i have a connection to SA. as it stands this thread (and the one before it) have nothing to do with chest pounding or attempting to belittle opponents. this thread gives both sides the opportunity to keep the rest of the community updated with respect to the progress of the war.
if you want to see it as chest pounding, that is entirely on you. its strictly about the numbers and you are free to draw whatever conclusion you want from those numbers.
finally, so long as we keep posts like yours to a minimum, then i don't forsee this thread being locked. if we keep this thread focused on the numbers, then we shouldn't have any problems at all.
have a good day and good luck to all.

Edited by: Homo Erectus on 08/01/2004 21:26:04 malikon, just because you started the thread, and you're not in SA/CA/evol/whatever, doesn't mean it isn't a thread about boasting kills.
that's what this thread is about, boasting kills.
you made this thread, possibly evening knowingly, so that droky could come in declare it the OC thread to post kills.
it's flamebait, as per usual, as per everything in this forum.
if you really want to know what's going on, fly yourself a super quick apoc or some cruiser down to the area and watch the travels, the locals, the fighting from afar, and make your own judgement.
you will never get a straight answer on these forums. |

One last note, it was my intention to start similar threads regarding all of the more controversial conflicts in EVE. Especially those conflicts in which both sides take the time to justify why they are fighting. This conflict has fit that bill. Others have not.
Since you raised the point, feel free to start similar threads about those other conflicts if you are so inclined. K? Thanks.

Edited by: Malikon on 08/01/2004 21:39:36 that may be joshua...but the original thread had 22 pages and 17000 views before it got shutdown. that was a lot of views for a thread that no one was interested in.
but this is all an aside to whats important so i will not speak on it further...its strictly about the numbers.
edit-my interest in the conflict is my own and has nothing to do with my corporate affiliation.
