By the means of this post I'd like to say welcome to all the space pilots! :)
Due to the weird behaviours of the developers - I moved from a Entropia Universe because as I suppose, Eve it is the only game, which can provide sufficient difficutlty for me to enjoy the game.
Unfortunately I am in the middle of exam-period at the university, so I cannot really spend a lot of time online. So since some time I am logging from time to time, just to add some skills to train. And from time to time, I am doing a bit of high-sec mining with a Venture (as it is the only activity, that lets me study in the meanwhile).
Straight after the exams, I am leaving for a journey and I won't be able to play. Therefore, for now I am keeping the alpha account. The point of this topic is that I won't to 'prepare' my pilot pretty well to get the Omega account, when I will get back in the middle of August. For now I am almost done with the newbie missions at the first location.
I am not trying to get any Corp at the moment, as I am not able to devote a sufficient amount for the game.
Okay. At the moment my character has around 0.7mil skill points:
- Trying to get skills for the Tristan. Frigates already at 5, waiting for the Drones to hit 5, the 'secondary skills' in the range of 3-4. - Basic mining skills (levels 3-4)
Okay so now I would love to ask you for some tips, concerning how to prepare for omega status... Which skills to level best and perhaps what to do after I will finish the rookie quests?
I know that is hard for you to recommend me certain 'pathways', but I need to admit that I do not know what I will be doing in the future. The only thing I know is that 'science' is not a branch for me! For sure I will try to do some frigate PvP's in the future. And besides that I was thinking about getting a mining barge, to maximalize my high-sec income ;)
So the question is... How would you approach the development of a pilot if you were me? :)
Thanks in advance and hope y'all fly safe!
P.S Hope you don't mind some spelling mistakes - I am not a native so they might appear sometimes ;) |
