Why am I getting this for a server status messege? "STATUS: INCOMPATIBLE (RELEASE)"
Anyone care to field this one?

I played last night before I went to work without any issues. On the Tranq. server too mind you. I went to login to see if the DT was over with and that was the server messege I got.

I had the same annoying problem, I tried to login on to tranq. Said that there was a new patch ready. So I downloaded it. and guess what.. I got patch for the testserver so I have to reinstall the entire evefolder.. this shouldn't happen. and apparently I'm not the only one that has had this happen.

Yeah, fuggin BS. Twice now i've had to reinstall my client because of this incompatible client crap. Whipes all my settings, folders, strat BM's, and takes about a good 8 hours to get everything back in order... CCP has no answer for this..........

The only time the game has ever had me download the test patch was if I was trying to log into Singularity. Obviously you should make sure you are not doing the same, but if the problem persists you should contact CCP for help and advice. I'm sure they'd take such problems quite seriously.

I'm guessing you accidentally switched to the test server, downloaded the test patch and now trying to connect to TQ with the test patched client.
Download the full build and reinstall.

i am getting this but on the test server. i have copied the main eve folder into my documents just for SISI. i download the patch and then when i run it again... i get 'Status: Incompatible (Release).
this is rather starting to bug me but i know i am not the only one with this problem. anyone able to help?
