Deana Nightbreed Raddick Explorations 0	Posted - 2011.12.31 09:27:00 - [1] - Quote After a couple of years away I have decided to see what I am missing in EVE I currently have a Caldari character with some 45,087,867 skill points so I think it would be unwise to start from scratch Although I still seem to read a lot of caldari cant PVP threads.... , so I jump in another races ship right I figured best play the tuturial with a new character to get the feel of the game again and take it from there.. So much seems to have changed over the 2 years I have been away, no idea what I want to do yet., maybe start with some PVP in a little rifter and see how long a survive, or some scouting if the systems..... dare I say I am evening looking forward to mining! I know sometimes it's difficult to realize just how much you spend on incidental things each month or year, but seriously, EVE is very cheap entertainment compared to most things... If you are a smoker, smoke one less pack a week and pay for EVE, with money left over to pick up a cheap bundle of flowers for the EVE widow upstairs.

Eve is not all about massive fleets of immobile battleships alternating between targeting and pushing F1. Choice in ships is dictated by choice in playstyle and personal preference. E.g. I do FW, so skilling up a fleet BS is largely pointless. You do 0.0, so skilling up any sort of subcap ship is largely pointless. @OP, Caldari is great at PvP and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. They usually serve as force multipliers rather than the "big punch" though, so I would recommend finding some people to fly with as a team. Most importantly, though, don't let people tell you how to play. Including me, to make that a bit meta. Figure out what niche you can have most fun in, then find people to fly with depending on that.
