Ashwin Navin the co-founder of Bit Torrent and I both attended Claremont McKenna College. I graduated in the semi-centennial class of '97, FYI for anyone who may care, or have been my roommate at one time (who knows).
How about that for a small world? I've never actually used BT, it's not my bag, but it's interesting nonetheless. Or possibly not. YOU DECIDE!
I used to get It. Then It changed. Now I don't even know what It is.

With how crazy the Digital Rights thing in the US is right now, the last place I would want to be is on the business end of pirating. Even if BitTorrent itself does not endorse piracy, its still being used as a tool for it to propigate.

Better comparison would be using trucks to smuggle counterfeit money.

Yeah, I agree. Legal or not, being associated with BitTorrent or any p2p application would bring me more unwanted attention than I would care to get. I like staying on the down low when it comes to publicity.

Yeah, me too. I wouldn't want to be associated with any technology used by World of Warcraft. It would be really embarrassing.

I hate to break it to you, but the Internet is used for criminal activities and to help terrorism. I guess we should all stop using it, then?
