Story I heard, solo Freighter, hunted by an IAC gang. Using logoffski to great effect, finally got probed, locked down, destroyed but not before it had planted the egg.
GM intervenes and threatens a 3 day ban for anyone who destroys the egg, half hour before downtime.
Might not be the full story, but that was what I gathered from the security channels. Seems a bit lame and it was petitioned I believe.
But meh, well done FiX.

I was there. I shot at the Egg. He was fixing the deployment that went wrong. So he ordered us to not fire. We killed the freighter after that. We kept it scrambled for 30 min.
If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough |

Thats pretty lame. The story I mean. Had it been me I would have nailed the egg and accepted the ban. I would have taken a 3 year ban for a chance to stick it to the enemy.

And then everyone would've laughed at you as the GM manually rebuilt the egg for them if he was fixing a bugged egg.

Congratz FIX, it is an amazing acheivment to put up any outpost and it changes the layout of the game forever, so to put up two is somthing you can all make claim to. Also good effort to IAC for being in the right place at the right time, as has been already said, if i was you i wudve destroyed the egg and taken the ban, wether they wudve petiotned or whatever u should always punish your enemy at every oppurtunity!
