To complete the mission, the following must be performed by you: eighteen units of Hydrogen Batteries must be transported from Nonni V - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant to Matigu - Poksu Mineral Group Mineral Reserve
Matigu doesnt exist as a solersystem but can be found in lonetrek in new caldari.
is this a mistake or is there a story behind it?

The explanation to this is in your question itself: Nonni V - Caldari Navy Assembly Plant is a station aswell as Matigu - Poksu Mineral Group Mineral Reserve.
Every station name consists of the planet (and maybe moon) the station orbits and the coporation name.
And as Matigu is a planet in New Caldari everything is right.

It's not a mistake: many of the planets in capital systems (New Caldari, Amarr, Pator, Luminaire) have names rather than just numbers. So also does one planet in Kor-Azor Prime, and that one *does* have a story behind it.
If ever you find yourself needing to find such a station, searching for station will find it if searching for solarsystem produces no returns.
I told you guys we needed a sticky on this.

Yes, its a named planet.
You know, like Mercury, Venus, Earth instead of Sol I, Sol II and Sol III.

Matigu is the home planet of the Caldari.
After the Gallente attacked and overran their original homeworld of Caldari Prime, the Caldari fled to the system which is now known as New Caldari and settled the planet which is now known as Matigu.
Anyway there are many named planets in the game, this one happens to have a station orbiting it and seems to be widely used. There are others --- look in the systems called Amarr and Pator for example. Also check out the background storyline for the game it is very interesting and you will learn all these things from it.

This was a problem that occured before and was 'fixed' by adding the solar system name to the mission briefs. This 'fix' seems to have become 'unfixed', as they gave missions the once over for castor, someone apparently worked from the old 'unfixed' versions and now we got 'em.
Still, nowhere does it tell you to search for the solar system. The agent is talking about stations in the briefing, for both origin and destination. So you should be looking for stations, not solar systems. Cut n paste the whole thing and search for it in PnP and change the search to 'stations' and you should get your result.
This will all become irrelevent once Papa Smurf develops his easier to navigate mission interface system. ____________________________________ Taggart wants YOU. Join TTi! *waves his hand in your face in the jedi way* |
