I didnt think it was possible. I went againt this apoc in my myrm without a worry in the world, hell i have 82% thermal resist...
um, he was nice enough to leave me some hull after about 10 seconds...You think Amarr is bad, I have maxed amror tank skills and got owned...xxSnuglessxx

So what youre saying is that your myrmiddon did not win over a tier 2 battleship?
Indeed. This is a catastrophy and amarr should be nerfed.
Probably should add in some more questions into this, for example, was he using lasers or projectile? What was your other resists? What drones did he use? What was your em resist? What kind of reppers/plates were you fielding? Sentry fire? age of him and you?

a lower sp char then me, can hit targets with 82% thermal for over 400, common wrecks for 1k....with a decent transversal....Amarr are not lost folks....

Well, first off, one of the main issues with Amarr is their inability to even remotely fit anything called tank, while ganking.
And further on, you say he hits you for over 400 with 82% resists? This would mean.. he does 400/18 * 100 = 2222.222 per shot, per gun. With no damage bonus.
So this means.. an abaddon would be doing 2777.778 per shot? closer to 23k alpha?
Something is just not adding up in your posts.
Further on a 2222 damage, would imply he had a damage multiplier of... 39. (ignoring wrecking that ofc adds a bit)
Oh and further on, transversal got nothing to do with his damage, just his chances of hitting.

I dont see Apoc doing 400 hits on those resists, but Abaddon did that to me.
I had an abaddon to do ~500 excellent hits on my Huginn (65% EM, 60% Thermal) resists.
Made me go

lol, that apoc must of had some pretty good skills to be damaging armor if your resists were truly like that....

Were you in a shield tanked myrmidon with 0% or otherwise extremely low EM resist? Scorch L is 36 EM/8 Thermal base damage, that could've been it.

No really, the whole point is that the OP insist on saying that he has 82% thermal resist OMG!, it's already been stated that t2 crystal do mostly EM damage...and surprise primary amarr damage is EM.
Anyway the OP gave us too little details, even confused apoc with abaddon, this make emperor cry from his tomb.
This just show how omni tank hurted amarr so bad...anyway I'd like to know the name of abaddon pilot and like to see him post here

Amarr is and have always been the king of DPS... when they are at the perfect distance, against the right resist and isn't running out of cap...

How do you mean it works for any other race? He just said it was the king, or said differently, king of other races dps wise, thus able to deal the most dps. If you fire any ordinary weapon on a structure, a laser will be able to reach the most damage.

Or better a BS with 8 officer SBs in high will be the best DPS ever... of course IF you get 10+ morons sitting near you being AFK...
The problem is that the world is never perfect and as such being amarr is really not perfect.

Now, if I went on here and said that, I would be flamed back to the future for noobnes. What propecy pilot in their right mind wouldn't run just from the word Hyperion.
But when a Gallente BC looses to an amarr Tier 2 BS, we actually have a basis for a discussion.

An abaddon with lots of heatsinks and using megapulse with Gleem, and you happen to be point blank, and he scores wrecking shots, then yes, that sounds about right, it would leve you in hull after 10 seconds. Because on the 11th second, it would have no cap left to fire its third volley.....
