Im new at EVE and running lvl2 missions lately in a drake setup. (i know, bit overpowered, but ain't got enough cap skills to keep alive in some lvl3).
I ran a Blockade mission (lvl2) in half an hour and salvaged fro 15 minutes after that (dedicated salvager). I got quite lucky and got 8M total of salvage, bounty, mission pay and loot.
I was wondering, since i already got a few good drone skills. What about a Salvage/drone setup for domi?
The idea is letting the drones pop the frigs and cruisers in lvl3 missions, and your domi scooping up the loot and salvage.
setup:
hi: 3 Tractor beam and 3 salvage modules
mid: cap rechargers + target painter for aggro + whatever you can fit more that helps
low: armor reppers and resistance modules + drone enhancement.
rigs: maybe some drone rigs to enhance speed or range
drones: med T2 and light T2 if possible
I think i can make some pretty ISK in lvl3 missions and keep a high pace in the missions, since i don't have to go back to get a salvage ship each time.

Salvage as you go Domi works great for level 3s. I found that it just didn't have enough cargo space to handle level 4s, so I went back to a dedicated salvage ship for those.
A few hints for you:
You probably won't need 3 tractors and 3 salvagers to keep up with your drones. A drone link, a gun and two of each are what I used and it kept up just fine.
You want an afterburner. The Domi isn't called a space whale just because it looks like one.
There are no drone enhancement lows. Fit with a LARII, four to five hardeners and a damage control unit and you'll have no problem with level 3s. Just make sure you have enough cap to keep everything running permanently. People like to complain about the inaccuracies in Quickfit, but it does help you with this part very well. Get it, use it, love it.
Drone rigs don't work the last time I checked (but I would be delighted if someone proved me wrong on this one) Fit for armor rep amount or capacitor. This will let you use the ship on level 4s as well.
For drones... why wouldn't you be carrying heavies? You've got tons of space to carry a set of heavies, sentries, mediums and lights and still have space left over.

tnx for the tips.
I am going to try this as soon as i have learned gallente BSand got the funds.
on comparison, how much more can you earn salvaging lvl3 or lvl4 missions? I was pretty surprised at the ammounts i already got at lvl2.

Depends on the mission and the enemy rats. Guristas, Serpentis, Gallente and Caldari factional enemy L4s -- well, you'll be lucky to pull 10M of loot+salvage out of the best ones. Blood raiders, Sansha, Amarr factional -- 30M is not uncommon for the battleship swarm missions. Angels & Minmatar factional enemies are about midway between the two. EoM and Mercs are outstanding as far as loot drops go, but the salvage is mostly metal scraps.
As a rule, the closer to BoB space you are, the better the rewards for the same activity. </wink>
Keep in mind that the loot is in addition to bounties.

As far as drone rigs go, the Control Range rigs do work. My support/salvage Domi has one, and it does add another 15Km to range.
Oh, and i use 2 Tractor Beams, 2 Salvagers, A Remote LAR and a remote cap transfer for group missions. Very useful.
