3x 125 prototype guns. 1x afterburner I, 2x Cap Recharger I 1x Small Armor repairer I, 1x Magnetic Field Stabilizer ( named, i found it today in a wreck)
is this good to run level 1 missions?
i cant risk to loose it since its my very first ship!

I'd drop one of the cap rechargers for a web if you're using railguns. Might as well put a rat-specific drone in your drone bay, if only to keep yourself occupied.
It's a good setup, though. I'd suggest skilling up your Repair System skills to III, though. An SARII can make a pretty big difference.
Looks good. Give'er a go.

You can probably answer that question yourself by trying the mission. Do you have to warp out during the mission? Can you complete the mission? If no then you probably have the wrong setup. Do check the mission out first to see what damage types your going to get. but from what I remember - there is not much you can do wrong at lvl 1's.

That is a fine and dandy setup, however you will have trouble with a couple of missions: 'worlds collide' and another, I forget the name.
You would be better fitting a Damage control I instead of the magstab because you WILL have to warp out. And fit a better afterburner; Cold Gas Arcjet is the best T1, train for Small Armour Repairer II ASAP as mentioned already and 1MN Afterburner II which gives a great speed boost.
You may want to fit a small capacitor booster and use charges to keep the repper running instead of the cap rechargers, and a web is a good idea once frigates get within 10km so that those rails hit them easier.

Edited by: Christopher Dalran on 24/05/2007 18:28:49 I loved my incursus for pvp but i didnt like it all that much for doing missions, I found that the Tristran could run long range weapons and tank rats better while the incursus does better up close and personal.
Also take along one light drone, if nothing else you can release it first and the rats will fly around shooting at it which can buy you some time. I cant speak about frigates but i know light drones (expecially t2) will tank cruiser rats for you with good skills.
Swap out your Damage mod for a DCU however, for Tank is more important that DPS in regards to missions/rats. I cant even count the number of times a DCU has save my ass, its realy a great module.
Also get rid of the cap chargers, your running rails so if by chance something manages to make it in close your going to need a web to hit them. Some rats pack webs themselves so getting caught by one without a web could spell doom (it'll take a while for you to allign while webbed).
Like the above poster said cap boosters work great if you find yourself needing cap alot, otherwise i would suggest a tracking computer to help you out untill you get some great gunnery skills. Skip it of course if you score mostly solid hits. Basically just do missions untill you die horribly then come and tell us what happened.
