Besides, those ones on EBay may have used codes. Always buy from a trustworthy source. Like GameStation or Amazon.

Errm... Guild Wars is free to play, there are no trial period, just the full game. Pay once, never pay again.

You can trial it for a couple of weeks by way of a Trial or Buddy key.
That way, you know that ú30 or ú50 (depending on whether you get Collectors Edition) isn't going to be a wasted purchase.
Trust me, I've been playing it for the past year.

i don't know shouldn't free mean that we don't have to pay at all?
what you are looking for is Buy to play, however if you are serious about pvp* you had to buy all the campaigns which came every six months at a price which would break down to about $10 a month depending on the retailer.
'Course after some time they have cheapened but yeah, just saying it used to cost $10/month if you wanted to be competitive that time. However it's still not f2p.
Don't mind me i am just annoyed that everyone thinks that GW is f2p

Trust me, I've been playing it for the past year.
I played it when it 1st came out .. got a level 20 M/W .. la la la 100million gold was it? & the best Armour in game la la la .. which I coloured black & white..
is it worth me installing the game again ? ..
