I know they are not used as much now but with the dropping price have bought a cpl. Just wondered if any 1 has some set ups for the Cerberus and the Eagle.
Will be using mostly in small gangs........and perhaps using the eagle for a little solo or 2 ppl pvp.

How much are they anyway, if anyone could do a quick price check on the 8 HACs for me I'd appreciate it much. Graphics card died, running on a crappy old matrox so I can at least internet and chat, but I can't check the market
Not very familiar with the caldari HACs though. Try the sticky.

That's not too bad. Personally I'm quite curious to how expensive the ishtar and vagabond are currently, and what the trend is, lowering or has the price stabilized?
About the Cerb... It's a bit of a tricky ship because it has only 5 med slots. For a 2man gang it isn't as big of a problem if the other dude warps in first, but I would suggest not going for any tackling gear.
The highslots and lowslots are ususally the same.
6 High Slots, 5 Turret slots results in 5x Heavy Launcher 1x Medium nos
It might be a cool idea to run a remote shield module in here instead of nos. Not sure how hard that is to fit, but 2man vs 1-2 ususally means only one of you is being shot, you having no tackling gear, capless guns and capacitor increasing modules in the lows allows you to double his tanking ability with your remote transfer as you got spare capacitor. He can do the same for you.
Lows are your preference, you got 4 lowslots and I suggest 2 BCU 2 PDU. Could go for a lil more gank or a lil more tank. But imo, 1BCU results in too little damage, but the third BCU barely adds any, so 50/50 on bcu/pdu is fine.
The medslots again, are tricky. A setup where a buddy does the tackling would be:
[Ususally] Large Booster EM Hardener
[Additionally for last 3 slots] Invuln Field Booster Amplifier Extender
[Misc Modules for some tackling] Scram Web AB/MWD
A decent setup would be
5x Heavy LauncherII 1x Med Nos
1x Large Booster II 1x Booster Amplifier 1x EM Shield Hardener 1x Invulnerability Field 1x Large Extender
2x BCU 2x PDU
For an Eagle you could experiment with some gatecamp setups. The odd hauler that warps in at 15km on AP should be dead, but imo it's not really worth it. Without the gear to tackle, or do amazing alpha strikes most things will escape to your frustration hitting your sec status hardcore, which is annoying without an alt to goto empire for ya.
Good luck.

I enjoy using my cerb in roaming gangs... as mentioned before its not really a solo ship unless you think outside the box with armour tanks, but this setup has served me well.
5x Heavy Launcher II
EM II Invuln II LSE II Sensor Booster II 10mn MWD or AB
3x PDU II Shield Power Relay II

I know you said for pvp, which I don't do, but maybe this npc setup will give you some ideas. It all will run forever.
Highs: 5 t2 heavy missiles Medium: 1 large gist sb 1 large cap battery 3 gist hardners <--- t2 hardners take up too much cpu Lows : 1 t2 bcu 3 t2 pdu's
rig: 1 ccc rig Last slot undecided

Why not use HAMs with the double range bonus on the cerb?
It's great not being Amarr, ain't it? |
