Bah, what made me think it was a BC then? I think when BC and destroyer sized rats were introduced (serpentis brutix etc) the phantasm was among them. Plus, I believe if you show info on a sansha phantasm rat it says sansha's battlecruiser in the heading bar.
EDIT: doesnt change the fact that BC skill is not need to fly the phantasm tho..

A good bonus would be better!
I wanna see a black/green camo Serpentis Myrm with a mwd cap bonus!
And I agree its about time Matari had a sexy jet black ship! Cane would be perfic!

A jet-black Hurricane with another +25% RoF bonus and a extra turret slot would be just siiiick

Meh, Hurricane would be nice .. but what about a jet black typhoon, with green trails like the huggin/rapier. That would make it sweeeeeeeeeeeet 
You could give it an extra mid whilst your there :D

I dont see a point for a faction ship for destroyers and BCs. Since they dont require any race specific skills, there wouldnt be an extra bonus.

huh... that's weird. last time i looked, the first primary req for bc's was 'racial' cruiser to lvl 3.

Yes, and there are ships requiring 2 different racial cruiser skills allready. But it would be tough to implement bonuses for 2 different battlecruiser skills.
