If you watch the countdown it goes from 5-0 every time and starts over. So click it every 5 seconds!

Funny thing is, there are about 7 posts on the forums about this SAME!!! problem, yet u ask if anyone is getting this? Forums are for READING 1st, then posting lol

I'm glad to join the "Starting Up..." club! I'm getting that over and over again as well; started happening after I got the latest patch, played a while, closed eve and then attempted to get into the game a few hours later.

The forums were being wonky for me just a bit before.
And, dammit, I just finished training a skill too. And if they don't get this fixed in an hour, my alt is going to finish training a skill, and I'll have two accounts just sitting there, not training.
Why does this always happen when I'm not training a nice long skill.
I wonder if it's crashed, or if the people already in the game are still playing ok.

It's a done deal for all. This is the second bootloop tonight and same restart countdown loop too.

Don't feel too bad...I've got a skill finished training and I'll loose about 12 hours of time that could have been put into training something else...since that's the next earliest time I'll be able to get back on.

when i try to log in it says "Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
i went to the forums to see is CCP had made an announcement as to when the server was going to be back up but all i see is people asking is the server is down. READ THE STATEMENT

That was my first message. I deleted everything in my cache folder, and now I get the message I started this thread with.
Once step at a time i guess.

That may be logical, but I doubt it'll stop people from doing it.
Besides, it seems like the client isn't really getting any signals from the server, so everyone trying to connect probably isn't having any effect at all.

Doubtful. It does not hurt our bank servers when people are trying to login over and over. It wonĘt even acknowledge them until the services are all up and running

if the timer does work...and the servers go up...im betting on a nother crash when 15-20k people all log in at once. and i wouldnt mind a few mil as compensation seeing as thats how much i would have made if the server hadnt been wtfpwnd by the new patch
