Looks like m00 is visiting FA space. Counting around 24 of them. Guess I need to pull my damn gun out of the attic AGAIN.
On a sidenote, from what I hear, FA space is locked down, no passes are being issued.

CA Forces have almost destroyed half the FA force in Great Wildlands this evening.
I can only say I am VERY impressed with the attitude in local and my hat is off.

It's been refreshingly accurate. I look forward to the next engagement, hopefully I will be participating then. Like my other corpmate, I sadly had too much stuff to do in RL to commit to this op.
We learned a lot from our losses, and it was still fun, even for those who lost ships.

We shouldn't be boasting about the victory over FA IMO
They showed real guts in staying to fight when it was edging our way, and they were equally polite after the battle. When we asked them how many they lost, their numbers matched our exactly. (Which has never happened much)
Props to FA for a good fight, staying in the battle till the end, and a great attitude through out. 
And yes, we retreated when twice our number entered local, we were still damaged from the Fountain battle, and myself the UK guys couldnt stay online much longer a work day night.

I'm sure this was a learning experience for both sides. I can't speak for the rest of the corps involved, but this week's operation was Xanadu's first major PvP op since Castor hit. We lost those ships fair and square, and learned from our mistakes.
I'm sure you guys made your mistakes and learned from them too.
Edit: Isis will you pleast just shut up and drop it with the accusations and propaganda? Both sides have been enjoying the lack of it in this thread and I for one would like to keep it that way.

The leaders of the combat groups are really doing their best to prevent any kind of the usual flame-smack-taunt talk in local.
I know CA, SA and Evol have a special relationship and form of communicating. It is assumed FA follows suit, but we really try hard not to walk that path.

Well good fought tonight CA force, no question about that... this time we got beaten bad...
But then again the FA pilots that came down to CA knew we could suffer losses and were redy for that..**** do happen... To bad about the lag tho...
We learned a lot this last days about fleet battles after castor and had a lot off new eager fighters on their first major engagment (I know they had tons of fun).
For once it¦s nice to fight a enemy that dosent logg off all the time like a sertain CA corp we meet back home in fountain ... The CA home force earned respect in my book...
Good to see the local after battle, i hope this could be a example to follow after a battle...

Btw.. The big moo attack on Fa this evening dident make it in the first try.. They meet heavy resistanse from the home fleet that was online... Good work boys (and girl). Tomorrow is another day and hopfully another battle..... G¦nite all

Sick Boy put it quite well. It wasn't too surprising that we had heavy losses, as it was our first post-Castor combat exercise and as SB mentioned, we had a lot of pilots join in on this exercise that had not previously. (Admittedly, I missed this one too, but I hope to make the next engagement.)
Also the targeting time changes mean that it's no longer all about battleships, I know both sides were pulling out frigates for the first time in months, the use of which has primarily become a lost art. I know I myself plan on experimenting with frigs next time I see you.

The fight was right on the lag limits, if not just a bit over the limit 
The combat went really well with people being warp scrambled, target jammed (Something is warp scambling something ), people warping out recharging cap and shields, then getting right back into combat again.
We were about evenly matched in numbers, and it wasn't an easy battle to win, not by a long chalk.
Real fun battle, and kudos to everyone involved for the respect shown by all on local after the battle.
After that, with many damaged ships, Evolution jumped in, outnumbering us 2:1, and then wondered why we didn't engage them ....
We fight Evolution often enough, without running away, so next time, you just have to be there first if you want a fight |

FA are a bit slow i thought they would have figured this out a long time ago but CA OWNS THEM. this big fleet thing that apparently came together is as much a joke as the whole "passport" thing. But oh well... i guess FA is over with now and rightfuly so. i hope m0o and cow kill all of them. its getting a bit too hard for my corp to kill them all. |

Just to remind you(hopefully you already knew), you can send a clone to spawn at a different station you are in, such as in a station of a popular system of operations in enemy territory. Therefore not issuing passes due to the possibilities of spies is not sensible. Also, if a spy wanted to get through one of your blockades in a shuttle, they probably would not have a problem.

basically just saying we didnt want anyone in the systems we were patrolling, IE: the ones without stations.
There were quite a few frigate spies running amok yesterday.
Shuttles getting SB'd at the gates makes em sorta go splat...
Basically what I'm saying, is you have to do what you can, just like you would.

Skirmishes took place this afternoon between a badly outnumbered m0o force. We did receive backup from some c0w members later in the fight.
Todays losses:
FA = 7 battleships, several cruisers/frigates
m0o = 1 battleship (lost to a CTD)

7 Died, 1 lost afaik. And he got a BSOD. People have to remember that real danger has not come to FA space for a long while, like he said he has to pull his gun out of the attic :). They might have the numbers but we have the experience. And dont think m0o has any less resources than the FA does

We did say that we killed many ships and 2 small corps against an alliance killing many and loosing few or noone in every fight should be a big deal.

I only logged those for a couple of days, before we decided to do strictly battleships (and for some reason the odd cruiser or two). Otherwise the list would probably time out :]

Im not going to talk about politics here ( not my type off gameplay ) Just a shout out to the people on both sides that were in the 2 fight we had so far today.... Im sure there will be moore to come...
Nice fighting moo/cow as i have said b4 always nice to fight a enemy that dosent logg off all the time...
The lagg today was better ( if u can say lagg can be better )
We lost some ships... being replaced as we speak tho . Our side (FA) counts 4bs and 3 cruisers tha¦t moo/cow shot down.... 1BS kill may have been a ctd... did act wierd not warping out...
Well to sum this up, good fight moo u are indeed skilled fighters and so far it¦s been fun and nice to se the local nice and clean i like that a lot.

When m00 comes to fountain its always a good fight, but yes, they are right, FA has been really quiet for a long time.
One thing that seperates m00 from the other wanabees is they have the balls to stick around and fight, even being outnumbered,(well minus that 50 to 10 engagement)
So hats off to you on that.

You know what's hilarious - Some retard n00b corp (The Nubtastic Nubmen) declared war on Xanadu, and is accusing us of *supporting* m0o. LMAO.
They're not much of a threat though. They love using missles, which is generally a bad idea in a 0.7 system. Their CEO has been ganked by sentry guns at least twice already. :)

Now...kick me if I'm being dumb, but I guess those m0o kills from 01/09/2003 are from the first of september 2003. Whilst the Yanks use a MM/DD/2003 system (never understood why!) in the good old UK we use DD/MM/2003. AFAIK most m0o guys are british. Hope that clears that one up :)
