Just got into gallente recon's i am playing around with the lachesis atm as the arazu is too expensive :)
HI: 3x arbi assualt launchers
Med: 10mn mwd II warp disruptor II 5x indirect scanning damps
Lows: Med rep II Energized reatice membrane II 1600mm plate
1x hammer head II's 6xhobgoblin II's
I don't really have much of a clue on how to fit out these ships and i would really like to put a scan probe launcher on.
Any tips on setups for small gangs ?

For gangs, I don't even fit a tank on them. Just a damage control and 2 cap relays. That way you can run the damps and not run out of cap in a couple minutes.
By losing the plate and rep you also free some grid for guns. ------------------- |

I quite like the look of the speed setup i have been testing out lachesis with some corp mates and i foudn that most things i went against where damped down to less then 18k or so the buffer of the armour allso looks nice incase everything goes wrong i have a bit of time to escape or call in back up.
I did try the lach with a mwd on and found it to be good in bursts to get out of range of targets.
I would like to involve a recon probe launcher into my setup though as it would be good for getting people at ss's does any one ahve any setups involving probe launchers that work ?

Consider squeezing on another disruptor.

Speed 4tw indeed.
I really don't want to fit missiles onto my lachesis, mainly becuase i have no missiles skills what so ever and i don't really want to train them just for the lachesis, medium guns look to use abit to much cap to run the damps and the boost of the mwd every now and then.
Would putting drone link augs be any use ? The drone bay is abit small but i can't really see anyother options for damage while staying at a decent range.

Edited by: Lee Thrace on 23/07/2007 16:41:03 i'd put 3 heavy missile launchers + 2 t2 250 rails on the highs double t2 sensor boosts and triple t2 damps + mwd and t2 warp disruptor ofc
in the lows 2 or 3 t2 overdrive injectors (/w cap power relay)
2 capacitor control rigs to keeps them damps going
3 t2 valkyries and 2 t2 warriors for drones
this setup will make most pilots run for their mommies, provided they are not speed tanked excellent small gang fitting
edit: get missile skills! the lachesis is about the only gallente missile boat that can put missiles to good use

mine, cheap and cheerful gangsetup.
2 x T2 150mm 3 X HML
1 X T2 Aber 1 x T2 Sensor Booster 5 x sensor damps
1 x 1600 plate 1 x T2 Dmg control 1 x T2 Explosive hard.
No cap rigs, runs all damps and lows for 5 full mins continiously. (no scram, I stay out of the fight at 50km+ and let the ships close to gate scramble, that way I wont be called primary )
