Is there a benefit to placing a POS in .5, as opposed to .6 or .7? Concord will save your butt in all of them.
And also... faction standing 5 = can anchor in .5, 6 = can anchor in .6 etc??? up to .7?

like everything else, it comes down to location location location
already existing hangers
available moons(lazy people might not wait to get 7+ corp standings)
how close to your personal favorite mission whoring spot
etc

the standings for an empire tower are 10x Corp TO the controlling faction
so in 0.5 Gallente space. You would need a CORP(average of all players in it) standing to the Gallente Federation

Yep, that's corporate faction standing, not personal. Although I believe that after you "parked" your POS that standing can drop a you still can muck about with your POS - will test later today when anchoring my second lab...

The main benefit in putting in a 0.5 system is there are alot of them that have ice fields. Which means u can mine ur pos fuel in the same system as ur pos which certainly make things easier in that way. Also a .5 system doesn't require as high of standings as a .6, ect system.
