This is one of those cases where I seriously wonder if it's somebody buying isk(either legitimately ala GTC's, or illegitimately ala ebay) or if it's just somebody with too much money(too much backing?) who has no idea what the hell they're doing.
I just can't fathom getting into a ship I can't properly fit. But, then again, I guess some people either have too much money and not enough sense, or are truly just waiting to kiss the bullet, load and pull.

He was seen trying to use the stargate to jump into a neighboring 0.5 system, so the "no idea what the they're doing" theory is well founded.
Rendering the fraps now from the view of tackle/cyno ishtar now, I'll post it when I wake up. It's crappy and I put no effort into it at all, but it's high-res and inherently hillarious

the sad truth is that so many people play this game for months, even years and still dont have a clue what theyre doing. i know such people, they rly do exist. theyre nubs for life and they make up their own aprt of the rich tapestry that is the eve universe. |

im glad you got this guy.... if it was a decent fit i wouldnt give a crap, except for the fact he was ratting in a carrier in 0.4.... but seriously, this fitting, OMG, well i suppose hell just go buy some more isk and get a new one. wont be long till he looses that aswell....

I know full well about the CA kill, and yes, it's epic. I just find it amusing that without fail, someone always tries to make a post with some backhanded complement: yeah, that's pretty good, almost as good as 'this'.
I'm not e-peen waiving. I've done more spectacular kills. I just thought the fitting was hilarous.
Also, we had been stalking this guy for almost a WEEK. It was really difficult to be on at the right time when he was away from the station because he was SO paranoid/skittish. Really funny.

I like the overdrive and plates, although the BS afterburner and MAR I are nice touches.

Totally unintelligible, so much laughing, vent was a complete disaster from the second we entered warp til about 30 minutes after he died. Don't get me wrong, we've all killed more than our fair share of carriers before, but this one was just too funny. A week of preparation and stalking paid off in under 4 glorious minutes

Yep, he had been ratting in there about the same time every day for almost a week, everytime he logged in we scrambled the ganksquad, some of us podding ourselves from Branch and further to make it there. And until last night, we podded out each night disappointed that we couldn't get the logistics in place. Finally it all fell into place, we waited so long for him to undock and get back into the belts that a good portion of our gang had to log before it went down. Think we were waiting 4 hours or so last night before we managed to get him in a belt. I know a carrier isn't the most evasive thing around, but you can't just send in some ass hole in a rifter to hold him there for you
Why he felt he needed to nos the hell out of me while keeping his fighters (conveniently) chasing a stabber around the system I'll never understand, but I sure won't complain

Thank god we had some server stability when it went down, this was the sort of thing where once we went in, he had to die. A failed attack, for server issues or ship losses, would mean we'd never have another chance. In hindsight, I still can't believe how easy it was, we lost our arazu an hour or so previous so we were pretty nervous going with only a rook as e-war support (carriers have hax sensor strength  ).
