i know that its a bit hastey to be asking about the next big patch but just out of curiosity i was wondering what kind of time frame we have before shive gets introduced

We need player owned structures within a few months imo. This, linked to better ways to hold/own territory is needed.

Agreed there. We need mobile refineries and at least a basic player-owned station very soon.

with caster being out for what 4 weeks now this thread is very early...
but children are children ( learn to wait will ya )
i reckon june-dec and we still got stuff to come between caster - shiva like rogue drones for one thing ( a warning to all miners learn gun skills now while u can drones will fight there owners on sight with rogue drones ) just a warning

Shiva will be offered as an expansion set you'll have to purchase for $20 sometime near December.

Great!! Lets get a huge update on top of what we already got, wich bring tons of more bugs, and a players life much harder than what Castor did :p bring it on :p

They would never do that for the simple reason they would need to support both Shiva, and non-Shiva players with 2 different server groups.
And if you make the patch mandatory for $20, you may lose more than you gain.
