What kind of speed should I aim for in a longrange crow? Is 4.3km/s okay? Is it even acceptable?
And while we're at it, any suggestions for a cap sustainable setup that doesn't move like a slug. I can squeeze almost 6km/s out of my newly bought crow with absymal navigation skills, but according to quickfit i cannot run the mwd and the warp scrambler for a very long time.

4.3km/s is fine tbh. I don't know what you mean by 'long range', but you rarely go in a straight line long enough to build up all your top speed in a real fight. Being more agile so you accelerate faster is more useful imo. My Crow tops out at 4.9km/s and i've never needed faster than that. That's with a not-even-best-named mwd (grid is too tight for T2).

With longrange he means the standard missile-orbit at 20+km setup

Oh ok.
Well 4.3 should still be plenty. Most guns won't track you at 1/4 of that.

This should be sustainable:
3 x Standard Launcher II
1 x 1mn MWD (Cold-Gas) 1 x Shadow Serp 224km scram 1 x f-B10 cap recharger
1 x Nanofiber Internal II 2 x CPR II
1 x Mass reduction rig.
Or swap a CPR for a nano and lose the rig for a not-quite sustainable but still very long running setup. And remember that skills help alot here, Propulsion Jamming 5, High Speed Manuevering 5, Fuel Conservation 5, are all important.

an anti-inty AF will kill a 24km orbit inty even if it's going at speeds of 6k+

Any ship setup to specifically kill you will most often succeed. But most ships are setup with more versatility in mind.

The speed's fine for a ship that's fitted for modest cost. T2 gear, not super expensive, no rigs etc.
When in a gang with a speed warfare link, you'll clear 6k pretty easy probably. If you get webbed, you're still gonna probably die either way. Same if you stick around and get sniped by an Eagle, Munnin or Harpy.
But if you get it over 6k somehow, you will have better protection vs enemy crows or ships packing light missiles. ~~~

Just be faster then claw/taranis/vaga and avoid intys setup for dps. don't ever get webbed and profit. --------

5k is not fast enough imo. The crows only strength is its ability to sit outside 22k and spam missiles, while being almost invulnerable to being caught. 5k is easily acheivable for any inty, thus u lose ur safety net. Dictors can also do 5k, as can vagas . The faster ur orbit speed, the less that can track u, i thikn even t2 fitted coercers have a prob at uber high speeds.
5k will also not let u run a lot of camps. If ur using rockets then 5k is fine, but for long range std setup the faster the better. Not to mention the lol factor when u catch a target 200k off etc who thinks hes safe :p

Well 5k woudnt even enable them to catch my phoon so yeah that prob wont cut it.
