Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot content. That episode explained nothing . Good ol' Lost. It told us they got off the Island, and that's it. Also, Charlie could have easilly survived.

i think it's more likely it was sawyer in the coffin since no one went to his funeral.

i think its sawyer as kate was off with him in the cage (lucky bastard ) and i reckon the coffin had maybe lock in as no one liked him by the end.
tbh the best part of the series was that they were alone without help, even if they go back half the mistery of the things gone
(altho im still gona watch the new series regardless )

To be honest, I don't think Locke would want to leave the island even if rescue came. He's gone too Rambo for that, plus he's scared sh*tless that he'll be paralysed if he leaves the island. --------------------------------------------------------------------

Edited by: Phrixus Zephyr on 29/05/2007 01:07:33 Locke had problems killing anyone so why knife the girl in the back out of the blue? Seems like abit of a break from his actual character to me. Seeing as they're supposed to have gotten off the island it seems she was telling the truth (unless they've lined up another plot line).
Analucia(sp) died ages ago and Jack never brought it up once while he was 'captured'. You also don't find out what happened to Jack's father as he also knew Analucia (which Jack never found out). Also Clair is supposed to be Jack's sister but nothings came of that yet.
..and why didn't Charlie just swim through the window? Or better yet, get out of the door and then close it?
Ignoring the other general weirdness, Walt turning up again, Jack talking about his father as though he was alive in the future flash, the cloud thing, the Jacob thing. How exactly are they going to get everyone back on the island? Are they even going to show the rescue? Them trying to explain to the authorities about all the deaths (would they bother?) The 'Others' even though most of them now consist of survivors from the plane, do they get rescued?
I think its Ben in the coffin... assuming he was taken off the island.
Loads of other stuff that was never finished with that i can't think of right now.

I think the coffin is either Locke or Ben, since it is most likely those two wouldn't have anybody showing up for their funeral (of all the people that both Kate and Jack know, though Kate doesn't really know Ben all that much).
Jack did mention his father when he was writing the prescription, but since we never see him alive I would assume that he's still dead and Jack was trying to fake a prescription/was delusional.
Since we've been told that Lost goes on for six seasons, I have a feeling we will now be flashing into the futures of people instead of the past. Perhaps this was the beginning of that. It would make sense to change it half way through.

Anybody else notice too, that in the scene where Walt turned up, he looked a lot older then originally. Yes I know the series has been shot over a (two year period in real life?) and the lad who played him will have grown some in real life, but it seemed a bit odd that the producers would show such an open shot with a much too grown up Walt

guys, FFS, it was -NOT- a future flash of jack in the season finale. It was a flashBACK! It doesnt make sense because it's not SUPPOSE to make sense yet. What I am seeing is, Jack and Kate, at least, have been to the island before... (enter WTFOVER scenerio here)
Yes, I agree about Charlie. He could have easily lived, but TBH, im not totally convienced he's really killed off yet. Didnt you guys notice all the "The island judges you stuff?" Even if he is dead, we WILL see him in multiple episodes to come.
Why is the pirate-eye-patch guy still alive? I would think exploding a grenade in your hand would kill you. But I guess, the super-sonic (or whatever) fence didnt kill him, the spear-gun didnt kill him, why would a grenade kill'em right? Anyway, something is seriously up with that guy.
Where I am all WTFOVER about is the whole JACOB deal.
No, that was not jack's ex-wife in the Looking Glass.
I saw that its suppose to go 6 seasons, so we are only half-way thru this.
