I'd like the option to make ships owned by a corp.
This means:
- ships can be insured by the corp (insured for everyone, maybe new type of insurance)
- ships can't ben put in personal hangar (no stealing)
This would be ideal for small/medium and even megacorps. Not to mention tagging BLUEPRINTS as corp items ;) They can be used but not removed from corp :)
What do you think about this!

This is a great idea....I hope CCP os reading. it would make corp management easier and would allow corps to fight large scale battles easier as well.

thnx ;) Was wondering why people didn't talk about this sooner though.
Maybe because i'm in a corp which runs like a real corp. Corp members sharing equipment etc.

These things are said several times already to the devs.
They are working on a system to allow salespeople in a better way, but that will likely be Shiva or something.

This isn't about sales people :)
This is a security feature for corps that work with sharing equipment under their members.
Like a corp should work. And the corp wouldn't have to worry about people stealing important assets.

From a director's stand point, I love this idea and have wanted it for quite some time. Myself and our CEO discuss at least once a week which corp members should have access to hangars since that is the only method of locking down valueable items.
Another idea would be a corp member using corp assets like ships/equipment. If they leave the corp, the items immediately return to the corporation's possesion at the station the items are at or the next station the person docks at.

i know from my experience that this IS a bad idea, for 1 resons, 1. if a player leaves hell be left without anything... the insurance thing is good though

Well when you come into a corp someone can tag equipment to be yours ;)
The corp can give to you and you can give to the corp!
No more corp theft! And you can keep your own stuff too!
