Flipper slipper	Posted - 2007.05.29 00:49:00 - [7] To be perfectly honest there are way to many "im quitting eve" posts lately, so I wholeheartedly support the petition ! However its CCP that has to do something: I used to be ASCN and are now coalition (so im using an alt, bite me!), just thought I would get that said so noone has to guess. All this tinfoil hattery that has been about CCP favoritsm towards Bob does have merrit, atleast when you look at history. The "BOB T2 BPO" incident did happen, but as far as I know all the T2 BPO's are still alive and the CCP guy committing the crime is still CCP... and the ISK made in that way is not removed.... At least CCP never said otherwise in ways that I saw, all they said was that it did happen and they would deal with it. That gave me NO confidence that they TOTALLY nullified the benefit Bob had of the crimes committed. I also doubt only T2 BPO's was given, the sheer amount of supercapitals Bob has indicate that other stuff happend as well atleast something that generated LOADS of isk. In fact as far as I know at least one of the BOB corps dont do anything but pvp, since all their isk comes from the corp... is that done by exploiting illigally acquired BPO or the isk from them invested in more BPO's ? .. Probably not, but I do NOT know this for sure The same is happening now, they are leaving all of us in the dark as far as proof and consequence for those involved. A Bob member made it abundantly clear in the recent threads, that he has Dev's on msn and one of the accusations made by the goons is about Bob exploiting that, will we ever know the truth about that ? The Darkstar 1 incident was resolved by basically NOT talking to the people involved and NOT proving anything at all to anyone, if this was the first incident I would probaly just trust CCP, but not now, there are too many stories of impropriety around. I want to be sensible and tell my corpies that CCP is on top of the situation and that they should just play the game... but CCP is NOT doing anything to build confidence as it is now. Maybe we should all just give up and claim Bob the winner of eve, with CCP on their side there is not much anyone can do... A LOT of people feel that way, That is the real reason for all the bitter goodbye posts if you ask me. Its time to change that CCP, only you can do it.

Actually I think that there are many more regular players concerned with playing a Guaranteed fair level game without dragging the "Goons suxor they are pathetic or BOB cheats" garbage into the situation. CCP needs to rebuild the customers confidence and faith in them and their company and posts of "It's their sandbox if you don't like it quit" Aren't helping matters to be honest! I think a fair and unbiased "Player's Council" representing All area's of the game might be in order. There used to be one a long time ago I think Pann? originally hosted it. I posted it first in another "I quit thread" i will admit that, I did it because im sick of "I quit threads" and I want to be constructive about how to stop it. After i replied I saw my answer was the second one after the "lock" message from a moderator. So I decided to post it in a thread that has a chance to live, because I AM sick of all the "I quit" dialogue, I like eve and only want whats best for the game.. Right now its about looking forward and get all this crap out of the way. If you wanna flame me for it, go ahead, but I am not trying to provoke anyone, just to suggest a way to resolve this situation so I can get back to shooting bob and having fun in corp chat, thats all I want.

Subscription figures don't need "I quit" thread spam to show CCP how many people are quitting. All that those kind of threads do is attempt to convince other, not **ed off enough players to get *ed off enough to follow suit and quit themselves. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I suppose that (gosh!) people can actually make up their own minds and think for themselves.
